I tried a few road trip apps, but there’s a reason this one has won awards 🏆, and again 🏆. It’s very user friendly, works with Apple or Google Maps, & CarPlay, so there’s no gaffing about in the car, or trying to understand a new SatNav system. I bought this to plan the North Coast 500, but ended up planning another 5 trips, including a European tour, which I can honestly say that we would never have thought of doing, without the app. It’s easier planning on the iPad, but you don’t miss any features on the iPhone. The sharing version is worth the extra couple of ££ too, then when you are not travelling, or planning, just cancel your subscription, and everything is saved on iCloud, for when you are ready for your next road trip. Definitely worth ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️UPDATE: I have used this on three trips now, & the AI for rerouting, finding extra locations, or missing stops, is very easy and reliable. Our new favourite app!

I’m a multi drop courier & use this app daily for work. The ability to label each pin, change colours or even add notes is invaluable. The fact that it uses Apple Maps is also great, given how good that is with private house and farm names. I will say, however, Apple Maps last update did change one particular street on my route from the street name to its A road name, which is why I’ve marked this down a star (not really the developer’s fault). I’ve had 2 occasions to contact support & on both times their responses have been excellent, detailed & fast. I would highly recommend this app to any courier who needs a reliable route planner.
Motorbike trip

I’m using the app for a motorbike road trip In Spain. I’m using it on an iPhone and listening to the directions on ear phones It’s got me to all the places I need and I’ve been able to plan some great routes.It has struggled with the map not been up to date around Valencia but it’s not suppressing considering all the new building work going on hereHighly recommend it for planning a road trip and if you are using audio directions only.
Still won’t avoid motorways

When choosing “avoid highways” in the settings, the app won’t. In fact, even if you place waypoints on an alternative route (for example to use the A38 over the M5) the app will route you off the motorway to hit the waypoint on the A38 and then put you back on the M5 again at the next junction. This is a great app, but where a route I want to use runs close to a motorway, I have given up trying to force this and have to use another app. It’s a shame because I prefer the other features of this app. I feel it’s got a bit too complicated in the last few revisions and I feel like I’m fighting with it more and more.
