While the app interface is well designed, the concept sounds smart and the intentions are positive, I’d do recommend people using this app with care. Talking from personal experience, it caused a lot of anxiety reading people’s speculations and statements regarding layoffs, fuelled by total anonymity. It reaches a point of toxicity seeing people posting nasty and negative comments or being rude to others.I think it’s a great app and very well intended but I’m not sure how it handles misinformation or potential harm in its platform, especially in the company enclosed communities. I have decided to delete it after using it for a while, as the anonymity hasn’t been used for good purposes.

I tried Blind for a couple of weeks, the app itself is fine, but a lot of content is stomach churning. Regular comments of misogyny and racism. Even for my own company most conversations are completely useless. If you value your mental health, stay away.

Full of hate posts against Indians

Every other post is about how Indians are the reason behind every problem in USA and should be banned from H1B. I installed the app to keep up with the tech industry but it’s so painful to scroll through the posts.

I work for a global tech company, a recognisable name with offices in the U.S.Even I won’t use this app because of its U.S. bias. Why would I be interested in U.S. salaries or U.S. recruitment connections even if they are work colleagues? This app is of no use to 99% of the global workforce.
