I am not one to complain, however in this case I cannot leave the complain hidden! I ordered 5 burgers, fries and some chicken strips early this month. They mentioned it would take upto 40 mins and later a gentleman called and said he would request an extra 5 mins which I said was ok. Five minutes went over, then another 20 mins, still we waited, after the extra 40 mins a very rude man called and said they didn’t have the chicken strips hence the delay and should I still want my order placed????! I was very upset and still said no need for the strips and hurry with the order as I have waited way over the time mentioned and my kids are going hungry. Two mins after the call I got a text saying my order has been canceled without no excuse. It’s absolutely disgusting cheap behavior the man displayed and if I got my hands on him I would give him a few lessons on how to deal with customers. Very sad for food panda to have such dirty employees.

Unfortunately, I had to give one star, because I did not have option of Zero Star, You guys have such a pathetic service. Most of the customer service agents are ill-mannered, they don’t know how to talk to the customer. I ordered KFC from Foodpanda, I did not get my order and I approached Chat facility, all your guys kept telling me that your order is on the way just wait 5,10 minutes and I waited for 3 hours, one of your agent asked me to call KFC directly as they are not attending out call. when I spoke to the KFC, they clearly said that we are not delivering the order today and informed it to FOODpanda as well, so you can cancel your order. When I spoke to your team again about refund, Foodpanda clearly said that you need to contact KFC for your money. Why should I contact KFC for my refund I paid to foodpanda? When you are getting money on KFC’s behalf, you should be responsible for the refund (its a basic rule and business etiquettes that you don’t know). Now KFC is unable to refund me money and they say you need to contact foodpanda. It wasn’t happening first time with me or anyone. I have another pathetic past experience as well, if I don’t get my order two time out of ten times, I would rather not to order with FoodPanda again.

An absolutely disgraceful first experience of using Food Panda in Phuket. The Restaurant didn’t even receive my order for 40 mins, which was the point when I phoned them to ask where my food was. At this point, the restaurant manager said there had been a problem with the order but that they would still cook my food and deliver offline. I then discovered an hour later when I phoned AGAIN that Panda had now fully cancelled the order and they wouldn’t be delivering my food. Almost two hours wasted and a very, very hungry, extremely angry customer. Food Panda should not be operating in this industry if they are not even capable of the most simple, basic functions, such as correctly sending orders and payment to the restaurant. Interestingly, the restaurant manager told me he had done his best, even offering me the meal for free if I drove to the restaurant to collect myself (by this point it was too late to do so) but he did say that Panda are very difficult to work with. Delivery services of clothes/products is one thing, but the food delivery industry is one that MUST be robust, capable of working correctly, and unfortunately this is not the case whatsoever for Food Panda - leaving customers to go hungry is a bad place for a business to be in.

Whilst using this app I’ve had quite a few of my orders arriving very late, sometimes over 1 hour late, sometimes with the food being very cold, and I had used their customer services to let them know of these issues. Just this week I’ve had 3 orders delivered to me extremely late. I used their customer services on the app again and it still happened 3 times in a row, with one of the times the order was from Burger King and the paper bags were competent wet, food was cold and soggy. Absolutely nothing was done in those 3 times, with foodpanda staff simply telling me that there were a lot of orders hence the delay. I told them it had happened a few times now and if that’s the case I’d suggest to adjust the estimate time they give to the customer previous to taking their money. This exact same issue happened once again, the same week, even after it had happened many tomes before and specially after it happened 3 times in a row in the same week. All I got from the staff was a “sorry”, they then offered a 40 baht voucher (when the delivery fee was 30 baht) and about the food being cold and wet from the previous order nothing was done. The last time it happened, being the 4th time in a row and after I complained and spoke to their staff…the order was so late that I wasn’t at the address anymore at the time that they could finally deliver it, so I had to request them to cancel the order. Once again, all I got was a “I’m sorry for your experience” and that they couldn’t give me a refund. After having complained many times, receiving orders with soggy and cold food…and the same happening 4 times in a row I’m the same week…I just spent £6 in another order that I never received and no refund was done. Horrible experience with foodpanda. I am using Grab from now on and I really don’t suggest that you use this app.
