I am really pleased with this app. A lot of the push up apps want to act like trainers whereas I just want to track my numbers. Some others seem to want to push toward a more pricy training programme. This app tracks your reps, counts for you (I love that it uses the proximity sensor so I don’t have to nose the phone like some others require) and updates some info to Apple’s health app (though the health app seems to not take exercise workouts unfortunately). The dev also fixed a bug in the app really quickly which had been a nuisance for me. I look forward to sets allowing a pause and maybe also capturing sets info. And visual stats that extend back in time without aggregating scores. But that is the icing. This app is great if you want to count pushups and set your own custom goals.

Even though I still stand by giving it the 5 stars, I would just like to note make sure there’s plenty of light cause the odd shadow can block the accuracy, and may cause it to miss a number account & I don’t usually play my tunes while using. I prefer the bleeps myself, But your music plays perfectly,, So for a free app & bit of crack with your pals if they don’t cheat, lol There was more meat on a butcher’s knife then me 😂. But not now so if you’re looking for a new set of shoulders & chest & core, Stick to this little app 110% results, PS…I’ve nothing to do with this company and I hardly ever do reviews. I’m Irish and I’m dyslexic so you probably won’t even understand what this says. This works ☘️🇮🇪
Brilliant if you don’t want a ‘plan’

I’ve set myself the challenge of doing 100 push ups in a row. I used to use the Adidas trainer coz it would create a plan for you but they’ve taken that off the store. I tried out a number of other options but this is by far the best and so affordable. It has face detection or proximity option for counting. I use face detection. It has the option to play music directly (I don’t). It has a great widget that shows how many you’ve done on each day of that week which is nice to see. It has a calendar that not only shows you when you did exercise but also how many push-ups that day in one easy screen. On the start menu you can upload a photo which can be motivational. I put one of me when I was significantly fitter as motivation. Nice little touch. As I said. As long as you’re happy to build up the measures yourself this is absolutely fantastic. Well done and thank you for making it affordable.
Just exactly what I need!

Very simple; counts the push-ups - keeps stats and history and a pleasing interface. Also (best of all in my view!) doesn’t have 100 other gimmicks or distractions. You want push-ups; this is the place!
Features
* New "Per Set" chart in Stats showing your average reps per set over time, with whiskers for your smallest and largest set in each period
* All-time view now renders charts (previously skipped)
* Added three new stats: Most In a Day, Longest Workout, and Best Reps/Min
* Stats now show period-over-period change
* “Highest Rep" renamed to "Best Set" for clarity
