Who are we?
Pray As You Go is a home for the rhythm of your prayer life. We are a Christian prayer app; an audio sanctuary enabling you to find space in your life, to root and recharge with consoling guidance and inspiration, available wherever you go.
We use contemplative prayer reflection, scripture and music to help you embrace both the steady rhythms of daily devotion and the deep moments of discovering God.
All of our content is always free, no subscription required.
What do we offer you?
We have been accompanying prayer journeys for 19 years. At the heart of our work is our daily guided prayer session, lasting 10-13 minutes. Even in the short time, many people's lives have changed over the years through an encounter with Christ.
Whether you're looking to have a steady rhythm with our daily prayers, or explore our wider content including Examen review prayers, imaginative contemplations, sleep prayers, mental health prayer guides or just to stay close to Scripture, we've got content for you.
We also have a range of prayers for children and guides available in sign language.
What spirituality do we use?
We are based on the spirituality of St Ignatius of Loyola, and we're a work of the Jesuits in Britain. This involves the practice of slowing down, looking out for the movements of God in all areas of our lives and living out all of our contemplation by putting it into action. Although we are a Catholic app, our audience is from a wide range of denominations (fun fact: we're about 50% Catholic, 50% Protestant), so there's something for everyone!
We’re here to help you embrace both the steady rhythms of daily devotion and the deep moments of discovering God, and we can't wait to be your companion on the journey.
I thought I could write no better review than I just wrote as I shared the apps with a friend.‘ I came across this by chance.. & I’ve really been appreciating the contemplative & well guided 12 mins or so… so I thought I would pass on the link.. even though I know you have your regular prayer practice .. it’s a gift of a quiet moment.’I particularly appreciate the Wisdom of the guidance of the simple Lectio Divina for each day, - in the midst of life. Thank you

The text is far too small to read. Also, the developers have not taken i to account smaller screen sizes or Zoomed display mode on iPhone. I use Zoomed mode on iPhone 13 to make all screen content display at a larger size. This is part of built-in iOS viewing options - to see screen as Standard or Zoomed. The layout does not worked in Zoomed for the same reason it does not work on a smaller screen size. All the different screen tabs and elements just change position and sit over the top of each other. This puts all playback controls underneath the tab at the bottom of the screen where they can’t be accessed anymore. The new update does not fix the Zoomed display mide issues. This is pretty basic tbh. Surprised it wasn’t picked up during test stages.
No longer works on iPod touch

I love this app and have used it regularly for years. Sadly since the new update two weeks ago, the app no longer works, and any daily prayers that I had not already downloaded say ‘These prayers are not ready yet’. Apple no longer supports software updates for my iPod, and the new version of the app requires iOS 14.0 or above, therefore I am stuck with an old version of the app and no new content. If there is any way to maintain even minimal daily prayer functionality for those of us who can’t install the latest version, I would greatly appreciate it. 🙏🏻
No longer available for me

I’ve loved this app and enjoyed it daily for a few years unfortunately today it’s stopped working for me. It hasn’t being working properly for some time now but today it’s completely gone. I hope you can fix whatever it’s making it crash. I’ve reinstalled it a few times too ..doesn’t work.
