There are lots of websites with all kinds of audiobooks dubbed by professional actors and enthusiasts. Most of such audiobooks are distributed as folders with multiple audiofiles in different formats.
I'm, the author of the app, listen to audiobooks all the time. Therefore, I did my best to make MP3 Audiobook Player a tool that has everything necessary to make this process intuitive and convenient.

• Adjustable playback quality (0.5x to 5.0x).

• The book cover is loaded from an image file in the book’s folder or from an embedded image from an audio file.
• Automatically saves the current playback position for all audiobooks.
• Supports CarPlay and integrations with over 50 other car models from Ford, GM, Mazda, BMW, Jaguar, Landrover and many more
• Jump to any file (can be enabled in settings).
• Supports standard headphone controls.

Overall I like it. Does the basics well and works with almost every file I’ve tried.Only thing for me is it would be nice if pressing backwards / forwards would work to skip or rewind 15 seconds (or some defined interval) while driving. Or if it at least worked with Siri that would be an adequate workaround.If that can be implemented then it’d be 5* for sure.

I don’t normally leave reviews. But for me this is the best audiobook player. Worth every penny. I have now been using this for the past four years and bit. My original review 3 years + ago is below. Once again two thumbs up for the developers 👍👍I have been using this app on a daily basis now for the past 2 years. This app has everything that you could want and more. After getting this app I have never looked back and deleted other audio book players from my devices. This is the best MP3 audio book player out there. Give it a go you’ll not be disappointed. To the developers.... Thanks for the great app, pls keep up the great work.

Bought because I wanted to listen to audiobooks on my Apple Watch. Once downloaded, I discovered it doesn’t do this, just streams them from the phone. This is annoying as I particularly wanted it so I cd listen to audiobooks phone-free while out running. Oh well, on this run, i loaded up an audiobook and I took the phone with me on the run. About 30 mins into the run, it seemed to skip, then a few minutes later it skipped again. And again. When I got home, there was only about 10 mins remaining of a 5 hour audiobook I’d started 90 mins before. I’ve now no idea which bits of the book I’ve read and which I’ve missed and will have to start again. This is the first and last time I use this app.

I loved this app, having used it for several years. But the added extras that made it special no longer work - the auto rewind, the bookmarking from history no longer works. But since the last update there is an annoying sound warning at the end of the sleep timer which wakes you up, what’s the point of a sleep timer that wakes you up. Please please restore to former glory, the best audio app out there....Update: thanks for listening, app now restored to former glory, best app out there
