This game is so simplistic and I love it. It slowly introduces all of the mechanics and it’s really fun seeing what you’ll need for each level. Some levels are styled in a way there is a scrolling thing at the top with plants coming along you can place. For example the walnut bowling minigame and I love this style because it’s like a small break from the tower defense style which can be refreshing. If you’re not playing story mode, or have finished it, you still have lots of other things to do, like playing mini games. There are a lot of them. Some of them are very difficult I must admit but they are ALL fun. There is also a shop to buy upgrades for your plants and various other things. My favourite mini game has to be Last Stand. You get loads of sun at the beginning, there are 5 rounds of zombies, which are quite tough and you have to survive. The screen can get crazy at times with maybe 50 zombies on screen. There is also an endless option for this minigame and you survive as long as you can (pb 27) If you are looking for a fun tower defence game, this is for you.
Very good

I first played this game when I was very young, and i really enjoyed it. The tutorial is great and in one day i got past the pool levels! I love reading the almanac and sketching all the plants and zombies. During the game you can unlock things by watching adverts, which sometimes are worth it. The game is extremely fun and i don’t get bored of it. The only downside is the adverts after the levels, but that doesn’t spoil my gameplay.I have completed all of the levels on my ipad, and i am now trying to complete them again on my phone, and i have to say it seems like nobody plays this game anymore, which makes me sad, because i never see PvZ videos anymore, but that doesn’t stop me from playing. Overall i think this game is really good and fun, and i highly recommend it during self isolation, as it’s something that keeps me happy, even though there are zombies that literally want to feast on your brain. I find it especially funny that the zombies write letters that you can collect after certain levels.
Game is good, but EA isn’t. No surprise there.

I used to love this game. As a kid it was probably the first game I got that didn’t belong to my brothers, but this new version disappoints me. Adverts after you beat a level (don’t worry, for just a little bit of money you can buy them away!), a simplified main menu that sort of gets rid of some of the old versions charm, for example the trophy for beating the game is gone. I don’t remember the price of minigame packs for the old version but here they are unrealistically expensive. Last stand pack costs 100,000 coins! You don’t get nearly that much from both adventure runs. And even after that, glitches! The worst one was the game crashing whenever I tried to play last stand endless, just wouldn’t work no matter what I tried. Finally, I uninstalled the game hoping reinstalling it would fix the issue. And instead I lost my data and seemingly have no way to recover it. I spent some on micro transactions, a bought 100,000 for 99p, but there is no way of restoring purchases. If you do get this game, don’t expect much. Don’t watch adverts for the little extras in the game. And definitely don’t purchase micro transactions. Just turn off your internet and play to get away from the ads.
I love this game

I am an absolutely massive fan of the pvz franchise and this extremely classic game is one of my favourites. It starts with a few plants having to take down zombies who wander on your lawn but then bigger threats come meaning you need stronger plants. There is loads of breathtaking levels you must play including fog, pool, roof and many more. Through out all the games chomper has been my favourite because it can take out strong foes instantly by eating them but if there opponent is to big there bite still does a truck full of damage. Also the soundtrack of this pvz game is better and more memorable than the rest and apart from five nights at freddys 1 it is the best soundtrack from any game I know. It’s more old styled than pvz 2 but for some reason that is why it’s better. It started the pvz trilogy too. If it was money it would be worth whatever you spend. This app is definitely worth your time
Hello, smarty plants! Your zombie-zapping experience will get better with some behind-the-scenes updates and brain-picking improvements. As always, thanks for playing.
