Gives accurate results and lots of other useful information, when you are tracking your network's performance.I was working with the developer a short time ago, in helping them fix a bug that I was seeing. The developer could not have done more and was very responsive and helpful in getting the bug looked into and ultimately fixed. One of the best developers I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with.
Streaming modes a bit limited for 2019

Considering iPhones and iPads can stream and cast to FullHD and even 4K devices via AppleTV it would be useful if the app had these higher definition streaming measurements as well, even if the stream has to be reduced somehow for display on the device whilst running the test. Also I have noted that the browsing tests seem to be affected by certain ad-blockers so a way to either bypass these or detect them and suggest they be disabled whilst testing would also help in getting more consistent tests. Otherwise this app has proved very useful in determining if a network is capable of allowing me to watch Netflix or other sites when away from home in places like hotels or holiday resorts.

I’m in the process of migrating to a new phone and doing a cleanup/update of apps. When I opened up the nperf app, an apple pop-up appears straight away saying “nPerf wants to paste information in your clipboard - Allow/Don’t Allow”. I tapped “don’t allow” since I had a password in my clipboard. Luckily Apple started to prevent apps from automatically pasting the contents of users’ clipboards a few years ago, but before Apple made this change goodness knows what data nperf had gathered from all of its users’ clipboards.After reading other reviewers comments about nperf continuing to tracking users’ locations even after denying it access, I will not be continuing to use this app in the future, and will not download it again.

I was using ookla but I find the user interface very basic and I read reviews on this so installed it. I have Bt infinity 2 my download is about 75mbps and this app is very accurate. I love how you can perform a detailed test which includes the time to load videos and web pages. All this is free with no pop up ads. This imo is one of the best free apps to test your internet speed and latency.
