I always begged for robinhood to be available since 2020 because the alternatives were just not as good and came with fees.I used to use freetrade. To have an account worth £30,000 you would have to pay a fat FX fee on each trade Also price updating was a little slow and i always believed that I got a terrible entry even tho I bought exactly at a good price. Anyhow robinhood gives practically 0 fees. 0.03% to convert so for £30,000 it’s only £9. also i’m not aware too much about payment for order flow however the prices on market orders seems to be great?? They always give me the real true price of the stock. There’s a small stamp duty required not the government when you sell a stock but that seems to be around $0.30 for a $10,000 sell order so nothing to worry about. Since we’re in the uk. I had to consider the pattern day trader restriction. you cannot day trade or you’ll be restricted unless you have $25,000 or more in your portfolio.All deposited money is kept in usd which is fine would be nice to let us by pounds with it especially sometimes i see the exchange rate looking favourable.I’m regards to options trading im nearly sure it’s because uk laws. So fair enough. Would be good if you could prove you understand them/ prove you can handle the risks.My realistic hope is you let uk users purchase uk stocks and ETF’s. We need $spy and $qqq badly.
