After playing various battle strategy games I was looking for something more peaceful and remembered about some hidden items games I used to play in the past. After starting this game ab it 6 months ago I reached quite a high level when playing on my iPhone and now I loaded it on my brand new iPad. The graphics are great, and although sometimes it is hard to find an object, I believe this is the point 🙂. I also like the fact that there are various puzzles to solve. My only gripe is about the number of pop up purchase ads for various packages on offer. I know that most of the games nowadays are aiming at making money for their developers, but I make a point of not spending money on games. I can understand somebody wanting me to purchase one thing a day as a special offer, but 5? In a row? Twice a day? Without spending money I can still reach 99% of goals. I could have done more if I was bedridden and played all the time, but as it is I only play on the bus and in bed to wake up. (To get the brain working). I recommend it due to the quality and fun element, but be careful not to get addicted to spending...Update 2021: I stopped playing this game for a while, but kept it on my devices “just in case”. I just got back to it a couple of weeks ago, and although it reset my progress and I was back at lvl 1 it was still fun. There are various improvements and enhancements in the game since I played it last time, also the location graphics changed. Still stunning, and after all these years I have not found another game with so much attention to visual parts. The pop up purchase adds are still there, though there are a bit less of them. I love the addition of the guild.

Great Game but also very annoying

The fundamentals of the game are great and the graphics etc are amazing. I pretty much play twice a day, every day once my energy levels have topped up. This is the first game of this type I’ve played and am actually enjoying it, HOWEVER!!!- you waste a lot of energy working up tokens to be able to play a room, only to finally play it and not get the item you are playing for. It can literally take days to get one item even if you are using boosts to help.- there are a ridiculous number pop ups want you to buy packs. This is really annoying and if you aren’t careful you could spend a fortune. You can finish a game and literally 3 offers will appear that you have to click through before you can move on.- I have dyslexia and some of the updates are really not inclusive. I really enjoyed doing the mosaic puzzles and was quite good at them, but in a recent update the went from black and white tiles turning into coloured ones to a really pale sepia tone - I’ve not managed to complete once puzzle since!- as a newbie to this type of game I had no idea where to start. I’ve had to find out by trial and error and missed out on loads of rewards etc as a result (and I’m sure there are a still a lot I don’t know about). I’m not looking for hints - but somewhere in the settings folder to be able to get some basic instructions as to how the game works, would be a good start!

Brilliant but flawed

I love this game but it is extremely frustrating. The good things are that it looks beautiful, there are new levels and events just often enough to keep it interesting and the difficulty level is about right (i.e. items are sometimes challenging to find but rarely impossible). You can also play reasonably successfully without spending money on rubies etc. On the negative side, as you progress through the game some of the levels use up so much energy that you can run out after a few minutes. You also need special items to access certain levels and sometimes these are not easy to come by - it is infuriating to spend days or even weeks collecting the required access items, only to fail to find what you’re looking for and be back to square one! This especially annoying during an event as you end up running out of time to complete it. I am on level 67 and was recently in a position where I was seeking 4 items, all from different levels requiring special access items, and however many random levels I completed I could not make any progress as I just didn’t have the necessary access items. I very nearly gave up but got lucky with the daily gift from the desk guardian. Obviously if I was willing to fork out for a sack of rubies I could just buy the access items...This could be a 5-star game with just a few tweaks - higher levels of success locating the hidden item needed to complete collections, or more generous provision of access items (or a little of each?). I will persist for now but the frustration may soon prove too much. I know I’m not the first with these gripes - Mytona, are you reading??

I've been playing seekers notes for quite a time now, and mostly it's good. I like that you get to explore different locations and there's a 3-in-a-row game which can be tricky to solve.... One thing I really don't like, though, is the haunted lights game.... It's virtually impossible to solve each game as you don't get enough time and I flatly refuse to purchase more energies or anything within the game itself. That's another thing that's really annoying - you collect or win coins, but you have absolutely nothing to use them on. You cannot purchase rubies or more energies, or indeed, anything with them, so what is the point of them? Also, you keep getting pop ups about "special offers" on in app purchases, which are annoying, because sometimes if you've managed to win an item for a collection, you cannot see where it's gone because of a sodding "offer" that pops up! I don't bother following the story, either, I just like to play the games. Great graphics, and fab designed locations, my favourite decor is the boudoir! I just love to see colours and and the little moving elements in each location. So, good and bad things about this game, but if you are easy going, give it a try....
