Been on the Card trader app for a few years. Just recently got back in to it. You can get by and build up a decent collection without spending any cash. My advice would be to save your free credits for one or two sets rather than trying to collect everything. That way you are more likely to get more award cards.

I can’t describe just how much they have ruined this app if you weren’t familiar with the former look. It is no longer accessibility friendly. I cannot read it, I cannot see card counts properly, everything is so much smaller now and it hurts my eyes trying to use it. The touch icons are tiny and easily missed so you tap on the wrong thing, and load times are a lot longer when viewing a card. As you can easily tap a card when you meant to tap the number in the corner to change quantities, you have to sit and wait for it to load before you can go back to try again. The chat function in trades is also ruined, now you can’t see if messages were sent unless you go into a separate window. There is much more I could write, and it’s a real shame they have utterly ruined this app. I really enjoyed playing it and have been for a long time, but it’s no longer useable for me, and as it’s so user unfriendly and not accessibility friendly anymore, I wouldn’t be surprised if they lose a lot of other users too.

I have been using this app on and off for 5 years now and I am about to delete it to never use again.Recently, there has been an issue that means when you make an in game purchase a bug does not deliver the items paid for, therefore forcing me to contact customer services with an Apple invoice days later to receive the goods - usually after the particulars wave of cards you want to pay for has ended stopping you from completing the set.The most recent case of this, after a long period without it, has left me with 4 weeks of none or poor communication from customer services.They have taken my money and not provided the goods.I have emailed multiple times which are being ignored, and had very poor communication via the in-app support chat which resulted in me being given a generic ‘update app’ message after talking to person that seemed to be on the verge of supplying me what I paid for before disappearing.This is hands down the worst customer service experience I have had on an app provided by the App Store.The app has severely gone down hill in recent years and in my opinion is clearly entering into fraud at this point. Surely it is a deliberate act to ignore paying customers requests for what they paid for.DONT WASTE ANY MONEY ON THIS! APPLE PLEASE INVESTIGATE.

Three weeks playing this app after their December 2025 update -I really find the game not enjoyable anymore. Many more additional steps are needed to move around the app, everything is smaller and so annoying when you don't hit the screen exactly where it wants you too and so then have to wait before exiting, going back and correcting! The name of the game is trading and it used to be so easy, but now I don't even bother. Now when I need one or two cards for a set I painstakingly send trades, but I have decided not to bother anymore and let the rewards go without even trying to collect them. It's got to the point where I don't even want to open up the app. Five years playing this religiously and spending far too much time on it. Maybe this update has done me a favour. I used to be disappointed when missing out on an award but now I can't even work out when a new set is released! Hoarding. Was waiting for the booster packs and was going to hit hard. Now? Not bothered. Don't even feel motivated about finishing them.
