A truly dreadful experience that has had little improvement since I first had the displeasure of supporting it in the late 90s. Verse is a poor client at best; Inconsistent synchronisation, poor decoding of rich content E-Mails, & a calendar that seldom works well with appointments from Exchange or Google. If you have the misfortune to work for someone who still uses Domino/Notes and Verse I would strongly recommend you look for a new employer. With Exchange or G-Suite you’ll feel like a pit-pony from the 1800s who’s been brought up from the dark, claustrophobic tunnels underground and given a bright, fresh, tasty paddock to run about in. I only use Verse so I can keep my work emails separate from my personal on one phone; but I’m beginning to question my own sanity. If it wasn’t for the fact we are migrating away from Domino in 2021 I’d have been long gone. My no 1 interview question now; which email system do you use?
Awful app
Wgster66
I cringe whenever I have to use IBM Verse both as an app and as a cloud service on a Mac. It is truly awefull. How anyone can constantly release such rubbish is beyond me. It often does not show new messages when they arrive on the iphone app, you often usually have to open the app to see if there are new messages. If you read something on the cloud based Verse it rarely shows as read in the iphone app. Trying to import contacts into the app is more complicated than it ever needs to be especially if you have cloud services set up which 99% of iphoe/ipad users will have. Adding a sigutare in the cloud version of Verse does not import it over to the iphone app - you have to start from scratch and cannot get it to look the same. I can't work out how to add facebook links to an email signature etc..... I could go on but to sum it up IBM really needs to get their act togther and release something that actually works like you would expect with an iPhone app.... The cloud based version is no better and I truely hate having to use it but my company chooses to use it so I have no choice...
Poor since iOS 13 update
Danny Faz
The app is almost unusable since the latest update for iOS 13. I have to enter my login details and password every time I open the app up... it also resets my setting preferences back to the factory default which in turn slows the app down to a halt. This needs rectifying urgently as is currently unusable for work
Terrible app
marbar342
This app is poor, not user friendly and does not update new messages without having to either refresh the app or totally close then reopen. It does not have the finger scanner either, in all honesty it is not worth the hassle of using whatsoever. Microsoft outlook is so much better and user friend. Time to stop selling this poor app.
