Quickly create lists of stops, and launch your favorite navigation program. Sort by distance from current location, manually sort, or optimize stop sort order with one of the premium versions. Displays the estimated travel time and distance to each stop. Share a list with others through Google Drive - any changes to the list will be seen by all the users. Great for delivery routes and delivery drivers. Barcode reader feature scans FedEx, UPS Mail Innovations, LaserShip/OnTrac, and Royal Mail Mailmark barcodes.

Subscriptions can be managed via your iTunes account. Up to 25 stops per list for $4.99/month or $49.99/year, up to 150 stops per list for $9.99/month or $79.99/year, and over 150 stops per list for $14.99/month or $119.99/year. Up to 500 stops per list is supported by PlaceMaker. Payment will be made through the iTunes store to your iTunes account and subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.

I have tried a number of apps all claiming to be the best but this one beats the lot hands down. I use it combined with Waze which I have found ensures I arrive on the right side of the road and at the door. The app is so simple and in settings choose GPS over address and Waze. On searching for addresses it is extremely quick and adding each stop has been made so easy. One other major benefit of this app is you can so easily modify address info add notes and changing the order after optimisation is a breeze. You just touch and hold an address and move it up or down as you wish. The only negative I have found is on rare occasions when I know an area better than the app I can reduce distance and arrive quicker. The only request I would have is to choose shortest or quickest as an option. Also I wish apps would understand we can turn around as since it knows the direction you arrive in it never it makes getting the next address slightly longer at times rather than just going back the way you came in. As I am learning the areas I cover naturally I am working some of these things out for myself.Finally I am on the beta program and it’s great to see the developers are actively working to improve the app all the time with a couple of updates every week bringing in new features for our benefit. Keep up the good work guys and thanks for making my life so much easier.

Exceptional route planner for small business

This app has revolutionised my route planning as a small delivery business. It requires some manual work, but once you’re used to it, that’s where the tiny complaints end. It registers addresses in the right place, even if the customer types it incorrectly. The mass import function (and then export as an email attachment) allows me to integrate it into my excel spreadsheets, just with some simple extra coding in excel to format it into the form I need. The developer was fast to respond and very informative when I required assistance. Very effective app which does what it needs to do, with extra features if you wanted them.

Well, I trialled 3 different route finder apps before settling on PlaceMaker. Both the other 2 apps were more expensive than this for the upgraded ‘optimise’ version - double in fact but NOWHERE near as good. It’s amazing. I deliver to 20/30 Leeds Postcodes every Friday and it saves me time, money and frustration. No zigzagging across town. You add each stop from your contacts so your just shows their Bake address everything! You can call or text your next drop via the app - it’s epic! All done via Apple Maps (in my case)!Support is fabulous as well. They guided me to all the features I’ve listed above and pretty much responded ‘by return’! Awesome! Mick
Great when it works

This app is very good when it works. I’m a new Hermes driver and the app is great for planning the route. It helps to put in the start and end point before optimising. I love that it imports the CSV file . The Hermes app is garbage compared to this one. I do love how the app imports the customers I phone number and gives you a phone and text message. Only downside is their maps, have two options charcoal with dark grey roads 😡 or white and light grey roads 🤯 please have light roads against dark backdrop and dark roads against a light back drop. Every now and again the app does not work. It’s a pain but dot let this stop you trying it
