Simple and effective organisation and time-management

I was originally invited to a TimeTree calendar with a group of friends so that we could establish when we were all free to make plans over the summer. After getting the hang of how the app worked and seeing how easy it was for us to plan for those few months, I started using it for myself. I have 5 calendars: personal (for just me); relationship (for me and my boyfriend); family (for me, my parents, and my siblings); college (as I’m a full-time student); and work (for my part-time retail job). I find that colour-coding in all of these calendars (e.g. green for 4-hour-shifts, pink for holidays, etc) makes navigation easier, and all of the setting options (that allow you to put events on repeat, add locations, add links, etc) are super useful and time-effective. All of my calendars then merge together under “My Schedule” which sums up my life on a day to day basis. Receiving alerts for everything is a lot easier than just having to remember it, and it means everything is recorded on one account if you ever need to look back. Collaboration between friends, family, partners, and coworkers is so simple using TimeTree and I will definitely be recommending it to all my colleagues so we can start a shared work calendar.5 stars

Is this good or is it bad
Very useful app for just keep track of your own schedule and / or joint calendars with friends so meeting up is easier. One thing I would suggest is that on the widgets, there should be an option to only show your personal calendar etc. as I have one for myself and two others with friends and I don’t always want to see their events as a widget. Whilst there is an option to only see “your events”. That is across all the calendars and repeats of events will show up eg 3 “work” events for the same shift on the same day across all the calendars will show on the widget. Also!!!!!!!!! Please please please can we have more than 10 labels at a time! I have a calendar with 11 friends and someone has to be left out/share a colour and if we all have an event we’re going to then it would be nice to have another separate colour for ‘everyone’! I also even struggle to separate my stuff into only 10 categories on my personal calendar due to work, university, chores, meeting with friends, birthdays etc etc etc. But otherwise. Love the app and use it all the time.

I have been using this app for over three months now and it is so simple, so pretty and so useful! It had replaced the generic apple calendar that I used to use because of its ability to have multiple people on one calendar. Me and my boyfriend use it all the time to be able to see when each person is busy and at what time without having the need to ask. Another benefit is that the app automatically reminds you of an event the day before, and then at the beginning of each day tells you everything that you have going on that day so you never forget! And the automatic reminders continue, the app reminds you of an event within an hour or so before the event occurs for those last minute events, so you never forget an important thing again!I would recommend this app to anyone, not just because of its ‘multiplayer’ ability, but because of the design and how it does all the generic things a calendar can do but much better and more efficiently

I have been using this app for over three months now and it is so simple, so pretty and so useful! For the past year I’ve been TimeTree as my main calendar app, diligently filling in all available fields and adapting to a paperless way of life. Everything was brilliant until business picked up to the point where I needed help managing my time, client relationships, family schedules and more. So I downloaded an app which keeps your business and personal life organised by connecting and analysing all your productivity apps and habit history.You can imagine my dismay then, at discovering that whilst TimeTree will happily IMPORT data from just about any other app, it’s a one way street and DOES NOT SUPPORT syncing or exporting its data AT ALL. According to their help page, the only way I can do this is by manually copying and pasting every single entry, one by one. It also says there’s no print option so you have to first take a screen grab, then print as an image. It’s safe to say TimeTree have made any kind of data export/outward syncing as difficult as possible. Utterly archaic in a digitally connected world. So I’m jumping ship NOW and will just have to spend hours copying hundreds of entries, memos, notes and contact info ONE BY TEDIOUS ONE into a more friendly app.
