Being new to Tai Chi and living in a rural area where there are no classes, I am reliant on learning at home. I chose this app as the demonstrations are clear and assume no prior knowledge. I have managed to follow the first 18 steps as the moves are easy to follow. However, I find myself struggling to follow the next steps as I personally find the demonstrations too quick to follow, especially being new to the moves. It would be very beneficial to learners like myself, if the designers of the app could incorporate a “slow motion” mode when introducing new moves. This mode could then be returned to normal once the user is comfortable with the steps of the move. I would have given this five stars otherwise.

But it would be really great to be able to backwards through the videos so that you can repeat each section without having to play all the way through. Thus would seem like such a simple thing so I use this in conjunction with other apps that allow this. This of course defeats the purpose of this app. But I do like his style

This is a very enjoyable app, gives you a lot of content, both quigung and tai chi. However it has suddenly started to go slow for some reason, have tried deleting and downloading again. Would be 5 stars without this.

There is no clear description or break down of each movement so you end up watching a mirror image of what your supposed to be doing, often meant to be turning away from the screen, waving your arms around trying to follow along with no real purpose or technique.There appears to be some random information and text that flashes up randomly and briefly. No indication of next move in sequence so you can try and stay in sync.Really glitchy with screen rotate. Aspect ratio of different moves seem to be some landscape some portrait.I was really looking forward to this app, but am extremely disappointed it’s doesn’t actually appear geared towards beginners learning the actual forms rather than just copy catting some poorly explained movements.
Daily reminder improved to help keep users consistent with training.
