For a free app this thing is ridiculous, I’ve managed to teach myself some fundamental theory just by messing around, I highly recommend anyone with even a passing interest in production to try this immediately My only issue is that an update or 2 ago removed the ability to add MIDI files to pre-existing MIDI tracks when the max of 16 is reached. I have to delete an entire track, then drag/drop the file into the appropriate track, cut, edit undo the deleted track, then paste the MIDI back into the mix. A ballache to be sure but it doesn’t affect the overall production. It might be a slightly underhanded way to make me pay for the additional 16 tracks but I’d do that anyway. Still 5 stars tho
Great Free music production app

I definitely recommend this for someone starting out with music and DAW. There are loads of MIDI Instruments, You can add multiple effects, You can add real instrument recordings, vocals. you can share music with other people, there's NO ads that get in the way. There's also mastering which greatly improves the quality of your song once it's done. But, there's one issue that has been bugging me and it’s the lack of a duplication feature. This is very Important if you want to make variations of the same song, as far as I know, there are only two ways to do this; you can download the stems and then load them up in a new project or you can go through your project history and leave a note to start a new version. However, both of these methods are inconvenient and tedious because if you have to go back and make a change to the original version of the song, you'll then have to go and make those changes to the variant as well. I'm hoping that a duplication feature can get added to this app soon because I really like this app as the rest so much you can do on it but an option to duplicate projects is a MUST-HAVE for creative apps.

On one side i want to use this app, it seems like the sort of app i've been after for a while now, however i've immediately run into a problem. First things first, you need to make an account to use the app, which i feel like is a bit stupid and that put me off a bit, but then the second and much worse issue arrived when i tried to view the Terms Of Service and Privacy Policy, as all it did was send me to a site that was Currently Unavailable, meaning the Terms and Policy's i would have to agree to just weren't even viewable as of writing this.Obviously this is quite stupid and both of these issues combined mean i'm likely just not gunna use this service until they fix this issue, i'm giving this 3 stars as i haven't actually gotten to use the app because of this but hopefully if this gets fixed then ill actually be able to give this app a shot, until then though ill just wait until something else show's up.

Tape stop effect

for now i give bandlab a 4 star. I mix on bandlab for other artists. Mostly in the genre of drill. Uk drill. This means i do a lot of censoring to words. The most common censor sound is a tape stop, it is available in the application such as FL and others. i get that this is a mobile app but it would be so much easier to add effects. i watched a video about it on yt on how to do it on bandlab. but it was a tutorial by a bald guy that wasn’t very good. the effect did not sound like a proper tape stop. I use a different app on my phone for this tape stop sound effect which really slows down things as i have to screen record what i need censored, put that video onto the other app, screen record again but this time the original video with the tape stop sound effect over it. Then import that video back onto bandlab. In an average song i do this at least 7 plus times. so please look into adding a tape stop effect. and if u do upload a tutorial.
