I can't recall when I last wrote a review if ever, but I have to for this brilliant app. I have been using it for the last few weeks and it really has blown me away at how easy it is to use. I have added all my regular meals and plan weekly and then a shopping list is easily made and used on my phone while shopping. Life is so much easier. No more wondering what's for tea and then just rustling up some quick processed rubbish because I wasn't organised enough. So, for me at least this has made it all so much easier.I love that the shopping list shows which meal the item is for, so I can chose the most appropriate items, without having to rack my brains to remember Eg. if it's chardonnay carrots or chunky carrots. The meal planner is a dream to use once you have your most used recipes in there (which are also easy to input). I haven't even tried a lot of the other features yet - but I am sure I will do when getting a recipe from the Internet for special items/meals. So, well done on a fab app and thank you for not making it a monthly subscribe as I am happy to buy a reasonably priced well made app - but wouldn't have considered a subscription - I - like many I am sure, will not monthly subscribe for apps. Thanks again
So far so good - could we have calendar repeats in the planner…?

Looking for a new app to replace previous recipe app which no longer gets updated or works properly. Everything looks good so far, impressed with the import. Was rather put off when the app crashed and closed on some import attempts- but very reassured to find the answers in very recent developer responses- go from Safari -yes, works perfectly… But, such a shame the app didn’t bring up a message to tell me that, it just looked like a broken app to start with. All the features look great, and I think the price per platform is reasonable- others expect an ongoing subscription per year, which is too much… The meal planner looks great, but we currently have a meal plan in a calendar which repeats itself on a number of weeks (some meals every 1 or 2 weeks, most every 4 and some every 8 weeks) so this is automatically generated for future weeks elsewhere. If the planner had repeat options, like other calendars, then this would make a powerful improvement, but I don’t see me wanting to try to transfer it into here every week. We can shop for ingredients 2 weeks ahead on an online order sometimes so looking far ahead at short notice is important. Hope this app keeps going and improving, seems a brilliant solution - love being able to put in any multiplier, and choosing to browse through at different image sizes etc! Thank you! 😀🍰
Importing recipes is so easy!

I had the free version of this app for sometime but when I hit the limit of recipes you can store I decided to upgrade. I travel quite a bit and prefer self catering so this is great to have all my favourite recipes with me wherever I am. Importing recipes from websites or from photos I take from my collection of cookery books is so easy - almost no typing needed, sometimes a bit of copy and paste. I love having photos included as pictures often inspire me to cook. The search function is brilliant too for when I have a leftover ingredient that I want to use up. Previously I’d often partly recall a recipe that I’d done before but couldn’t remember where to find it so I had to trawl through my cookery books trying to locate it or search online hoping I’d get lucky if it were a celebrity chef like Jamie, Delia or Rick Stein. Now it’s soooo easy, I just search and any recipes using that ingredient appear instantly - fantastic!
Good app but...

It does crash every now and again but I rated it lower than I would have because I wanted to add my recipes to the app then maintain a shared recipe book with my wife. She wrote an email to the developer who, to their credit, responded very promptly on a Saturday morning in the form of mr Richard Bygrave to say that Apple was at fault. This App Store listing states very clearly that the app “supports Family Sharing”. It does not say that Family Sharing supports the app. Mr Bygrave did not suggest that Tudorspan was pursuing Apple to correct the incorrect claim nor that the developer would be changing the way in which one could purchase the app. I do not intend to bandy words on the matter. I wanted an app through which I can share recipes with my family without the inconvenience of handing over one of my own devices and I do not have one. I cannot have one unless I purchase the app for every family member. Very clever.
