I was a new user on amp me I have taken a trial for 3days then it says cancel anytime but still my money £9.49 z07deducted from my account I cancel my subscription in 5 mins as I use the app.Please I request you to refund my amount.

If you are rich, go ahead and download this app, if you are like me, a young adult, looking for a music app simply to connect to my friends’ devices, please go further reading, firstly I downloaded it, and I was surprised and thought to continue to use this app. However... you only get to use the + button literally once to see what it looks like for paid people using, clicking the + agian, it tells you that you need to buy the subscription for something like £29 per month!? I don’t bloody think so. To the developers, all we want is to sync our phones together when we’re out on a trip or out on a good day in the woods or at the beach, and sync our favourite songs using OUR DATA, yet you want us to pay that amount of money? Are you having a laugh? I’m a student in UNI and that’s pretty much my wages for a day gone, that’s seriously sick. But then agian, if you’re rich, you’re pretty much in the good terms here. Really disappointed in this app and I’m really disappointed in people charging others just for an app to sync music, even when we’re using our own data and WiFi. Terrible, 👎🏻

The app itself works well - connecting and amplifying pretty flawlessly. It does seem a bit pointless if you’re closer to one phone in particular (no being able to hear the difference) it does have a big affect on the room in general.The flaw in the app as a whole then comes from the need to pay a subscription for the ability to actually start a party. The work-around of course is a free trial which lasts a few days and then backs on to their weekly subscription deal.This is their most expensive deal.It is almost £10 a week.The option in settings to unsubscribe is unintuitive to find.I am forgetful and undetermined by nature.This is where they get their money from - suckers like me - and especially suckers like you. If you like the service and intend on using it - by all means pay - but if you do the free trial then there is a larger than you think chance YOU WILL FORGET. And the weekly payments ensure they drain out money for EVERY SECOND you stay forgetful.The worst part comes from the fact that the reason you forget about the subscription is because you don’t use the app - because if you still use the app after the trial you probably like it enough for a cheaper deal.You’ll only forget that you’re paying very week for it if you never click on the app and NEVER USE IT. Which makes it sting all the more when I realise they got me for nearly £30 over christmas.Well they can have it - it’s a christmas gift - but please don’t spoil them, they really deserve coal.

I don’t know how Apple hasn’t taken this down from the App Store. Their product is useless because even if you buy it, you need other devices to also purchase Amp Me separately in order to connect. Obviously no one would actually pay for such a terrible product. The only way they get money is people signing up to the free subscriptions and forgetting cancel, and then being billed about £10 PER WEEK. If they were actually trying to maximise revenue from legit customers, do you think they would charge £40 per month for syncing music?
