iEditor Pro – Text Code Editor 4+

With the Pro version, the individual file and group files delete function simply does not work. You swipe to delete and you confirm delete but the file will not be deleted.

You select a number of files and try to delete but that will not function and no files are deleted.

When you create a new file by clicking on "add a file" icon and then start typing, the Save button or Save As buttons do not show up. To only way to save a document is once you enter it is to put the file in "exit" mode by tapping the 'pen' icon at top right hand corner and then start typing and then tap save button.
With the free version (advert based) you can save a file without having to put it in "edit" mode.

Please fix these defective important features.

Engage edit mode paste again - where is the save button.?

I just wanted a simple app in which I could type my thoughts and transfer them to other platforms. So I thought "text editor". Simple, quick, what could go wrong?

Not a flaw as such, but you definitely need an external keyboard for this app. I got nowhere trying to use the on-screen keyboard on my iPad.

First flaw: too little basic functionality. You cannot even change a file name. I would definitely want to see a "search in file" function.

Second, but significant, flaw: it is unstable. Once a text file gets to a hundred lines or so, popping out to another app, usually to look something up or copy some information results in errant behaviour. On returning the file doesn't scroll properly and you have to use the "change icon bar down arrow" to get it to work normally again. As this app doesn't support split screen mode, it is necessary to do this a lot if doing research in a web browser.

Then, when the file gets even bigger, the app crashes for no reason. It auto saves frequently, so I have lost little work this way, but it is still very poor. Text editors should be amongst the most simple, and therefore stable, apps there are.
