Pretty good

I have been looking for a good font maker for some time that I could buy without having to pay a reoccurring subscription. I took a chance and bought this one, something I wouldn’t normally do without trying it out first. It is very good and with a bit of practice it produces good quality fonts on my IPad Pro with a Apple Pencil. Saving fonts could be a bit simpler but can be done and I’m pleased with this product. Good stuff.

There’s room for improvement

Ok, I admit it: I was going to ask for a refund. From the description and the example it look a lot more easier than I thought. Which it is, if you know how to use it and if you know how to use anchor points... But after a few days of trying and trying again, I’m almost done with my first font and I’m quite satisfied, after all. So, I’ll keep the app and hope for future updates to fix some things that I think would make the app work better. Like adding nudge tools: sometimes you need to move one line of that little smidge to match another line and it’s super hard with fingers/pencil. Some arrows to nudge it a little bit would be appreciated. And adding snapping tools would be really useful for when you’re creating very precise lines. Also, I don’t know what it is but everytime I move a point, instead of seeing the line moving I see a big blue area that makes it impossible to see where I am going... it’s kinda frustrating to wander around with the anchor point trying to guess if it’s in the right place. Other things I think might be helpful would be shapes (especially ROUND!!!), a cutter, multiple selection of points or lines (for copy and paste purpose), the ability to move point/lines in straight lines. That’s a lot of things, I know! But that’s what made me think that I wanted a refund in the first place, so Mr. Developer just take this as a constructive criticism... And after all, thank you for giving us an app that makes the iPad really Pro.

Surprisingly awesome!

I don't often write reviews, I rate apps but I have sat down to write this off my own back for once! I read reviews and sometimes when I see a lot of 5* I wonder if the developer has encouraged people to write by giving them something but this isn't a game, you don't win a cup for writing a review. I'm writing this review because the app is that good! It does what it says, you can create your own font, straight from your handwriting or someone else's. If you have any experience of anchor points then it will help you, there is a similarity in Adobe illustrator and having used that I found this really easy to adjust each of the letters to the shape I wanted.
Even if you have no experience, this is worth every penny. I've never spent this much on an app before but I need it for work and took the risk. I can tell you that the reward will be great!
Thank you, so much!!
