No alerts on message service
I have been using this app for about a year and it has been great , but just recently it has stopped alerting messages and keeps telling me to check my network (which is working fine for everything else ) connecting ♾ connecting ♾
Well laid out. I found it easy to use. One bug? Messages do not produce alerts. So you are not aware someone has sent you a message.
Would be nice to have search option on the future competitions
I cannot load either of the Senior spring cup competitions at south Winchester in the app.
Earth to developers, anyone there?
I got excited when I saw an announcement to say version 1.8 available but I seem to have 1.8 according to AppStore but in the app settings it says 1.7.3.
1.8.1 just come out with life improvements. None that I can detect.
Another problem: on the website you can go to competitions; ongoing and see the eclectics but there is no such feature on the app.
Also just tried the app on my iPad but it only runs in compatibility mode, ie doesn’t exploit the features of the iPad. :-(
Harder to use with each update
1) no longer possible to see competition start sheet without viewing on web !!
2) no longer shows the handicaps of players. This is needed to pick suitable partners.
3) no longer sends emails confirming the booking
4) after viewing a completion it always goes back to the beginning of the list even though you have looked at one weeks ahead which means you have to scroll down the list again
Suggestion: how about auto adding a calendar entry with a 1 day and 1 week alert.
If you look at a competition 2 weeks ahead and after that you click the back arrow it goes back to today rather than where you were on the list so you have to scroll down again to find where you were before. Silly bug that needs fixing.
Bottom line this company doesn’t take any notice if feedback because arrogantly they think they know more than its users.
