Great App that’s kept me right for a few years.
Being diagnosed with AF in 2016 and then further finding a missed congenital defect which needed open heart surgery I downloaded this app prior to surgery in 2016. I found a beat or two different compared to hospital machines which is very very good. Having various complications after surgery this App helped me when my heart rate went fast, skipped beats, paused and even during Bradycardia which subsequently needed a Pacemaker. For me since 2016 this App has helped give me so much information to back up how I was feeling and it’s accuracy has been consistent.
Very aggressive abusive app
I don’t write reviews very often but I am making a special exception for this one because it is absolutely horrendous. I understand that the developers have to make their way and I would buy this if it was sensibly priced - but a huge sum of money each month for this? Nope - never ever in my lifetime. The ads do not respect peace or privacy and are highly disruptive, blaring out overly compressed music at ear drum damaging volume that has me ignoring the ad altogether and panicking trying to turn it off. I am going to delete this extremely aggressive psychoapp as it is probably damaging my health by putting my nerves on edge. My heart rate may measure 48bpm when I start using this app but goodness knows what it is by the time I have finished. Respect goes both ways, other app developers manage to be respectful - I am not sure what severe issues and problems this developer has but they have totally failed here - I resent the one star I had to give - this is by far the worst app I own and it gets a solid 0/10 from me, zero respect and quite frankly I think it should be banned. Deleted!
Too Many App Blocking Ads
This is no doubt a valuable application if the app itself would let you use it. But it continuously try’s to get you to update from the free version to the premium by blocking access to the heart rate monitor button with these upgrading ads. And they don’t go!! So even if you click on them or ‘X’ them out they are still blocking your access. After allowing you to use the heart rate monitor for 3-4 times the app is giving you no choice but to upgrade to a paid version which is poor show. Why place your product as free when the creator has obviously not meant it to be. Because of these function blocking ads I’ve had to delete my version and stick to my Heart Rate Lite app. This also has ads btw but they don’t block the heart rate function and go away when you’X’ on them which is what ads should do ie give you the freedom to choose! Won’t be downloading or using this again and definitely do not recommend if you’re looking for a basic heart rate monitor that’s free.
