FLY like you've never flown before on your mac with a full six degrees of freedom. Play it your way with touchpad, controller or HOTAS support.

DEFEND your people against the oppressive COMMONWEALTH. ENGAGE in a selection of fast-paced missions and beautiful environments.

IGNORE THE ODDS and go toe to toe with swarms of fighters, frigates armed to the teeth or hulking capital ships. DON'T GO IN ALONE, bring your own elite fighter squadrons.

CUSTOMISE your fighter with an array of load-out options. BALANCE your choice of weapons, utilities and wingmen. Experiment with new equipment or get comfortable with favourites.

BUILD UP your arsenal with salvage from each successful run. EQUIP potent salvaged items to take on the heavily armed COMMONWEALTH fleets.

KEEP YOUR COOL and you'll make it out alive. Getting wiped out means giving up on your current gear and loot. BAIL OUT early if things are looking tough and live to fight another day.

Good

Worth paying for from what I've seen so far. Genuinely good and quite frantic would quite like to see this on console. However, I would like to see slightly more weapon customisation options such as increasing magazine or fire rate.
However it crashes after every mission

Quite simply awesome

From the first 2 minutes of the tutorial you start to think, “hmmm interesting”, then you discover how to roll, adjust your speed, use your repairs wisely and to use asteroids as cover for the relentless enemy ships.
The graphics are superb, they are atmospheric and also claustrophobic, I find myself playing when i have 5 minutes which turns into 15 minutes, the gameplay is so involving.
Of all the games I have purchased on the App Store, this is the best, it’s sublime gameplay for when you want to relive the Star Wars experience.
The Developer has done a fantastic job with this game, it takes an old, tired genre and injects fresh life into it, when I was young Archer MacClean wrote Defender, then Jeff Minter did similar with is various shoot em ups, the very fact I am comparing this game to these, gives you an idea of how highly I rate it.
Excellent work, I look forward to your next app.

Thanks a ton for the review and rating!

Gamepads are most certainly supported, it even supports full HOTAS setups on the mac version!

Awesome game, awesome dev

Game has bags of potential, gunplay and controls are tight, missions are fun and the different guns are all useful in different situations so you can really tailor the ship to your own play style.

At the moment there are 3 daily missions with varying difficulties, I’d love to see where this game goes in the future as I could see this evolving into an awesome space shooter rouge lite or even a fully fledged campaign. The fun, frantic gameplay is already there and I’m having loads of fun - but it just needs a touch more to keep me playing.

I’m not worried though as the dev seems to be actively listening to feedback and has his trello board open for the public to see. Wholesome game developers like this deserve your support!
