International Snooker Career 4+

Easily the best snooker and pool sim on the AppStore, good graphics, great commentary from the wonderful Michaela Tabb. Gameplay is fun fluid and easy to pick up, yet with the guide length options can be challenging.
There really does need to be a Ai difficulty setting, because they don’t really offer a huge challenge unless you play with no guides, but this is not real life play so that doesn’t work properly, as you don’t get a real world 3D view.
I would love it if we got a update to replace the Ai names with that of the official top 64 or 98 REAL players in the world, also the Ai players choice of shots is sometime very questionable, they will foul when unnecessary, also take shots on that even Jimmy White would refuse, and finally they don't really have any safety game, which would really be the icing on the cake.

I tried the lite version first and really enjoyed the gameplay. The paid version is so worth it. Those complaining of having to pay for chalk etc are sort of wrong. Yes, you can pay for things if you want them quickly, but if you persevere and play some tournaments, you earn points where you can buy them in the shop!
I play this game a lot and can say that the AI is pretty spot on. Earlier rounds in the game allow the opponent to miss some fairly easy shots, but nearer the final, if you miss a shot he will practically clear the table, but the better you get, you can clear the table too.
One note for the developer though please; We need an update to correct issues with mistakes that are really annoying. EG: you pot a red and the ref calls a miss and a foul and the AI clears up. Also same thing on colours. You pot a colour mid break and ref says you should have potted colour. Really annoying in final frame when you are about to win the tournament!!

Great game but with a few flaws that would make it a classic. AI always cues off from the exact same spot and the AI always plays on no matter how advantageous/disadvantageous it is to them whenever you make a foul. Also when you've snookered the AI they always seem to play the same shot trying to get out of the situation which often results in you winning the frame if they, more often than not, make 3 consecutive fouls. Would prefer more variety in their approach to snookered situations.

Close-up camera views from the moving ball or the pocket immediately after you've taken your shot always mean you'll be getting a pot. Would prefer a bit more variety here so you don't know until the end if you've potted or missed.

Finally, would like harder AI opponents and if possible real snooker player profiles.

All things considered a good start at what could be a classic.
