Klei’s knack for building immersive worlds pays off big-time in Invisible, Inc. The techno-future vibe grabbed us from the get-go, and the hours whizzed by as we infiltrated corporations with our team of super-spies. A brilliant stealth game, its open-ended missions let you hack secrets, avoid detection and use slick gadgets however you like.

Story a bit short, but with lots of playability

This is a beautifully put together turn-by-turn strategy, asking you to learn all the tricks to break into facilities, evade guards and camera, and hack your way through electronic systems to get what you’re after in each mission. There’s a story, which is good for one or two playthroughs, but gets a little stale after a while, and the capacity to set your own rules, and keep playing until it gets too difficult for you. The animations are lovely, the gameplay keeps you amused for hours, and I’m glad you can buy it outright rather than have to pay for stuff in game, but I’m left with the feeling that just a little more capacity and variation would have made this a much better game.

It’s a real shame the Contingency Plan DLC...

...never made it to the iOS version. I’ve read so much good stuff about it but have to but the game again for a different platform if I want to play it.

Otherwise, this is still a spectacular game.
