Banning.

I really like this app. I got to learn Japanese and other languages in open chats. The only thing that’s quite annoying is that when I just joined an Open Chat, I got banned for no reason. You also get banned over the slightest things: Asking what someone’s gender is. I needed some help and wanted to ask the language helper but I couldn’t because I’m banned. It says they’ll send a message to you when you’re un banned, but I didn’t get one and I didn’t know if I were still banned. I went back in the app and I was un banned but got banned again for asking someone what their gender is. I love you app, but please do not ban for no reason.

App EXTREMELY unstable and slow

I don’t know what you guys have done to the app but ever since the recent update of the app it is slow. I get a notification on my notification centre but then as soon as I open the app nothing appears and says I don’t have any new messages. Also sending messages is extremely slow and keeps on loading for like ages and then the app suddenly crashes and automatically brings me back to the home screen. My Wifi is completely fine it seems to be a problem with Kakaotalk and it is so frustrating. People around me has been experiencing similar issues and I’m thinking of moving on to using whatsapp or imessages instead rather than Kakaotalk. I also have Kakaotalk on my macbook with the most recent version and it is still very slow and weird on the macos as well. I don’t know what you guys have implemented on the new app update but please fix it trying to use kakaotalk on my iphone or macbook is extremely frustrating and annoying. Just stop adding weird unhelpful features but improve its speed and stability. Very disappointed at this point as I have been experiencing this multiple times.

Don’t download.

This app was a complete waste of time and storage. I downloaded this app after being recommended by a friend however when I downloaded it, I could not access any chats or in fact speak to anyone. I tried multiple times to delete and re download it however when doing so the third time it Locked me out of my account saying that I need to “contact KakaoTalk service restrictions”.This was very unhelpful as it didn’t give me any directions as to where I should find that. Further more, I decided to go use the app support but when doing so I found that everything was in Korean, which is extremely unhelpful to the non Korean speaking people who would need help. Many other people have said this app is filled with pedophiles and is not safe for minors. Overall would not recommend.
