PAT (Portable Appliance) Testing / Test and Tag App for your iPhone or iPad.
Designed to work with SimplyPats - Data can be imported and exported too and from SimplyPats Version 7 or SimplyPats Version 7 Manual Plus Edition PAT Testing Software** (for Windows OS).
Manually log your PAT Testing Results using your iPhone or iPad, and if you own a Kewtech SMARTPAT you can control the PAT Tester via Remote mode using the App.
The Database used by KEWPAT is capable of storing large amounts of PAT Test Data between single (if in-house Testing) or multiple (if PAT Testing as a Contractor) Customers, and is designed to be compatible with the SimplyPats Manual Plus or Downloading Edition software, available seperately.
Information such as the Customer Contact details, Sites, Locations, Appliance Id's, Descriptions, Retest Periods as well as detailed Test Results can all be entered and stored. If you need to record extended information such as: Make, Model, Fuse, Serial Number, Price and Repair info and other information, you can choose to display the Extra Info screen during the Test Sequence.
Detailed Visual Test Information can also be recorded with individual checks for Socket, Plug, Switch, Flex and Body as well as OK for continued use and suitable for the environment it’s operating in. As with the Extra info, this is an optional screen that can be turned on during the Test Sequence, otherwise just an overall Visual Test status will be recorded.
Fields with the "Hold For List" option let you either type information in using the on screen keyboard, or select pre-defined entries from a list. You can add your own entries to any list which is a great way of entering frequently used Appliance Descriptions, Sites, Locations, Notes, Makes and Models etc.
Scanning of Barcodes are supported for data entry of Appliance Id or Serial Numbers. QR Codes can be read using your main camera where they have been printed out via the KEWPAT App using a compatible Bluetooth Printer (available separately).
Limits and Results for each test are pre-configured but can be overwritten or selected from a list. The Resistance Calculator can also be used to set the Limit for Earth Bond in Manual Mode.
Both Visual and Electrical Retest Periods can be set manually or calculated automatically using the Risk Assessment tool.
Support for taking photos is included.

Seems to do what it says on the to 😎👍
Can’t seem to import a company logo from anywhere apart from the Moments folder, so can’t scale an image to 200px

Thanks for the feedback. For best results, create a 200px x 200px logo on your computer and save it out as 2 colour Black and White.
Email the image to your iPhone or iPad where you will have the option to “Save Image”, doing this saves it to your Images location, where you will be able select it for use in KEWPAT.

Good APP but needs some work
As a “Competent person” opposed to a qualified electrician in the eyes of PAT testing, this APP is ideal for ease of use, features, workflow and data entry.
However there are a couple of issues that need addressing. The barcode scanner frequently crashes and closes the APP forcing a restart of the app and the test and also the “custom notes” seem very random as to whether or not they actually work or not.
Overall though, this is a great app and very usable. Would be even better if the issues were addressed though.
Doesn’t support some phones
After landing a large contract, I went out and bought a smartpat and downloaded the app but I’m a bit disappointed that several functions don’t work like the send files which just turns the app off or the scan function that’s non existent on the settings screen so can’t be used and the fact that I can’t record photos, also extra info doesn’t print in the email option letting the clients identify serial numbers etc. I’m running iPhone XR with latest download

The “Send Files” issue you mentioned did not affect every install, but should now be fixed in the latest update released at the end of May 2019. The fix was implemented soon after we were made aware of it. SMARTPAT users reporting the issue via email or phone were quickly added to Apple TestFlight, so they could run a BETA Version.
I am not sure that we fully understand the other issues you mentioned with regards to scan function, photos or extra info etc, as we have not received any reports of issues relating to these features not working as intended.
If you are referring to data output and generating detailed Reports (with or without photos), then certain Versions of SimplyPats are specifically designed to process the data from KEWPAT and offer advanced functionality and features regarding to data management and reporting.
