Works - but doesn’t turn off

With iOS 11 the app runs continuously. You can only turn it off manually using the rapid click of the home button.

There’s a red warning banner if you press the home button once - I guess it doesn’t run happily in the background?

Can’t see a way to feed this back to the developer.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. The red status bar is triggered by iOS to inform users that the app in background is using the microphone, so it's the normal behaviour.
Also, most iOS audio apps do not turn off when pressing the home button because one might want to use multiple apps at once, for instance to detect the key of the audio played from another app. We hope this makes it clearer! Good but not for the lazy

The poor reviews of this app had me very cautious. However, the app performs perfectly fine if you’re musical and have intuition and common sense. The app basically detects frequencies (such as 440Hz), assigns it a note name (e.g. A4) and suggests a key or chord (such as A Major). This is based on analysing multiple frequencies (eg recognising a chord/scale such as A C# E G# B D)

If you know music and know what you’re doing, this app is fantastic. However, if you’re looking for an app to spoon feed you the key signature in a foolproof way, then the joke’s on you.

Never been perfect but I could go with this app quite well. I like it because it is simple but it has started misbehaving recently. I thing you should work on some update, guys as the app wasn’t even free, if I know well.
