KKCode is the mobile client for OpenCode — the AI coding agent that runs on your Mac.
Connect to your local OpenCode server over Wi-Fi or Tailscale, and bring AI-powered coding assistance wherever you go.
FEATURES
• Multiple AI Models — Switch freely between DeepSeek, Zhipu, Qwen, Kimi, MiniMax, and any model supported by your OpenCode server. Model preferences are remembered per session and persist across conversations.
• Streaming Responses — Responses stream in real time. Scroll freely while the AI is generating; KKCode keeps your position and never interrupts your reading experience.
• Code & Markdown Rendering — Enjoy full syntax highlighting for code blocks, inline formatting, and rich markdown display.
• Tool Call Transparency — See exactly which tools the AI invoked, review file changes, and inspect inputs and outputs for every tool call.
• Image Attachment — Send screenshots or design mockups directly from your photo library.
• Session Management — Organize conversations by project directory. Rename, swipe to delete, or bulk remove sessions whenever you need.
• Split View Support — Keep your session list and active chat side by side for a desktop-class multitasking experience.
• Offline-Safe Draft — Your unfinished messages are automatically saved per session and restored when you return.
• Multi-language Support — English, 简体中文, 繁體中文, 日本語, 한국어, Deutsch, Français, Português, Русский.
• Dark & Light Mode — Automatically follows your system appearance.
HOW IT WORKS
KKCode connects to the OpenCode server running on your Mac.
Start the server with:
opencode serve –hostname 0.0.0.0 –port 4096
Then add your server connection in KKCode and start chatting.
For remote access outside your home network, Tailscale is recommended.
KKCode requires an OpenCode server to function. It does not include built-in AI inference or AI models.
I've tried a few of these tools and this one is the best so far. Not flawless but still useful. Easy to pick model and choose favourites. Sometimes the styling seems delayed so you see varying sizes of text. Deleting sessions doesn't seem to persist? My main gripe is you can't queue messages in the session. If you want to send another prompt you have to stop the agent first. I'd like the changes/folder icons to be further left as it's off the screen if you using a long model name
Developer Response
Thank you so much for the detailed feedback! These are all very specific and helpful points.1. Regarding the delayed styling you mentioned, would you mind sharing a screen recording if possible? It would help me understand and reproduce the issue more accurately. You can send it to us at Support@kkcode.app.2. I’ll investigate the issue where deleted sessions don’t seem to stay deleted and see what’s happening.3. Regarding queued messages: with OpenCode 2, the server API now supports message queuing, which makes it much easier to integrate on the app side. This is already on the development roadmap.4. I know exactly what you mean about the Changes / Folder icons getting pushed off-screen by long model names — I’ve run into this myself as well. Since those controls weren’t used very frequently, I had accepted the current layout for the time being. But since it’s affecting actual usage, I’ll revisit the design. If you have a better layout in mind, I’d love to hear your thoughts. For example, would it make more sense to place those icons before the Agent and Model / Provider selectors? Thanks again for taking the time to share all of this. Feedback like this really helps improve KKCode!
1. New Activity center for attention, running and queued sessions, plus context usage
2. Save a default reasoning effort for favorite models
3. Switch consecutive tool calls between collapsed and inline
4. Copy AI replies in one tap, and select text across lines in chats and file previews
5. More reliable sessions: permission prompts stay visible, stop and queue no longer get stuck, and context usage no longer takes up the input bar
