PHILOSOPHY
Last Voyage is a game about space that is not about spaceships but rather what lies beyond our culture and technology. A game where you don't master a single task but rather explore a range of concepts. As a result, the levels are sometimes mysterious, and other times very direct. Sometimes completely still, and other times moving at the speed of light. While these chapters form a continuous narrative, you are constantly surprised with new ways to interact as you seamlessly transition from one chapter to another.

A triumph of imagination and minimalist design, this sci-fi journey filled us with awe from the moment we started. Who you are and where you’re going are left a mystery—and you’ll be too immersed in ingenious puzzles and arcade-style action to care. Out in space and in abstract alien realms, you’ll fly through 3D mazes, align giant monoliths and dance around obstacles. Layered atop all the mind-bending challenges is a sublime soundtrack that sets the mood perfectly.
Strange and compelling
This is a game with a feeling of "otherness" - spacey, mental tests mixed with dexterity. It's quite frustrating, for me, in many places but I just want to have another go ... I found inverting the controls as suggested essential on level 2. Very fitting soundtrack too.
Part 1 is chill, Part 2 frustrating
It’s weird because if part 1 of the game breaks from traditional and almost presents you with some relaxing scenarios (calling them puzzles would be just too harsh) part 2 introduces those frustrating elements in an iPad game we try and steer away from. Part 1 has relaxing visuals, part 2 frustrating tilt controls and rubberband mechanics. Hey ho, part 1 get’s a 5 star part 2 gets a 1 star...
