Highly recommend it
One of the best if not the best app out there. The interface can be old looking to some but it’s still quite intuitive and simple to handle, especially if you are a long-time DAW person. I highly recommend it to anyone into mixing their audio tracks when out of PC access.
Ok at first
Going by other reviews I thought I had found the perfect app for recording and editing. On first trying out the app with short passages of narration I got really good results. I was very happy until I used the app for real. I found that there were many errors cropping up regarding the sound reproduction quality. And somehow small sections of my recorded speech was repeated (sometimes several times) in the final recording file. There was always a “click” embedded at the beginning of each individual recording. Despite changes in the recording level as suggested by the software. Which always had to be eradicated before the audio file was included into a project. Editing was very tedious and time consuming. And essential tools such as simple recording level adjustment were not provided. All in all this is not a very good app to rely upon for your recording projects. Give it a miss if you want consistently acceptable results.
Excellent, not too little, not too much.
This is a very nicely designed app. I personally would love to see two additions; Dropbox connection plus the ability to show either waveform or spectrograph. If I had to choose just one it would be spectrograms. These things aside, I love this app.
