Have a new iPhone 13 Pro, 12 Pro or 2020 iPad Pro with LiDAR sensor? Get this app and try to 3D-scan your house with it! With LiDAR Scanner 3D, making 3D models and exporting them into several formats (USDZ, OBJ, STL, PLY, DXF and LAS) is seamlessly easy.

Note that the scans do not contain colors.

This app needs the LiDAR sensor to create 3D scans.

However, you can create 3D scans also using iPhones and iPads with FaceID (TrueDepth camera) — for that, just download the Heges app (https://hege.sh).

Needs some work

Can’t export as stl or obj

Hello, you actually can export into OBJ, STL and PLY — just slide over a scan in "Saved Scans", tap on the orange "Export" button and select which format you wish to export into. It is also written on top of the Saved Scans popup.

Useless App

I downloaded and try it for the first time it doesn’t save the scan unless you paid . And has not a great sensor . Very disappointed

What is the point.

Doesn’t scan and give anything other than a big blob.

Hello Magpie, if you want more detail in your scan, you can use my other app — Heges (https://hege.sh) — which utilizes the selfie FaceID camera for scanning. The selfie camera has much higher resolution/accuracy than LiDAR (this is hardware limitation).
