RealityScan 1.5.1 is now available.
Bugs Fixed:
- Fixed an issue where pictures didn't upload and align on iPad Pro 1.
- Fixed an issue where some pictures did not align and flickered.
- Fixed an issue where users got stuck on the Process Project screen.
- Fixed a Crash when cropping was used on large scans.
- Fixed an issue where some models were black on Project thumbnail.
- Fixed an issue where Autocapture was still enabled while on the Processing screen.
- Fixed an infinite reprocessing happening in certain cases.
- Fixed an issue with the toolbar not being displayed when images were selected.

Ratings and Reviews
Good but not without its issues
I got a couple of my scans to work at the start which were surprisingly good quality but unfortunately whenever I try to scan now the app gets stuck on “waiting for cloud” or “aligning images” for hours without moving. Im sure this will be fixed in the future and when it is my review will be updated.
Appalling…
You can see it works but everytime you open the model it wants to recreate the whole model through the cloud which takes an age and when its done it wants to do it all over again… and again…. And again. By which time my phones battery is dead. You can’t seem to export except via sketchfab too which is a pain, and even then I have not managed to do this as it crashes and then surprise suprise wants to redo the model all over again. So basically this is an alpha thats not fully tested, rushed into the public domain to help burn the reputation of what they have. They don’t seem to update the app and make it better so too little too late, really sad.
Can’t sign in on an iPad
I have installed reality on a iPad with latest IOS installed and the blue button to sign in is constantly spinning and won’t allow entry of login details I tried going into privacy to see if I had to accept first and even tried other ways of signing via other platforms and no joy my learners were a bit disappointed so we used Polycam instead but as we use unreal engine on my games design course this would be ideal please have a look and fix this issue
