A game changer
Just when you thought it was safe to pull out your iphone and astound everyone with your LiDAR Scanner, along came instant NeRF. All you do is move your device slowly at an object or scene and within an hour you can view the same scene in cinematic beauty. It’s also a 3D model as well.
Neural Radiance Fields have changed the way we see reality. They will only improve with time and I already see them as the 21st century alternative to a photo or video.
Thanks to lumalabs (and others) we are blessed with the fact our phones can deliver awesome captures of the ordinary in an extraordinary way.

Amazing potential - broken privacy settings?
Relatively easy to scan an object!
Not sure how to scan an object that I only have one side view of, such as a building? Not clear.
The real concern here is scans that are set to private don’t seem private at all. Several on the app say “private” but I’m clearly viewing them. Equally, a scan I made with private is viewable by other when I share. Is this working correctly?
