Honestly- The best!!!

The app is so simple to use, and the workouts have been amazing. Only been using it for three days, but can feel the difference in my strength, and I’m feeling way more comfortable at the gym!

Things to make the app even more amazing!

Hi there, Ramadan Mubarak! I just started using the app and thank you so much for all the effort you’ve put towards it! I have never every put any type of reviews but I felt like I have to because I can see how hard you guys worked in this app. I just downloaded and subscribed a couple of days ago. I run through the app options and workouts and I have a feedback that I hope you’d look into it. I love the interface of the app, it’s easy to use. However, I feel like if I am a beginner it might be a bit difficult.

1- For example the Ramadan guide. I love how you have a preview of the workouts for each day but if I am a beginner and I need some explanation on how to do a superset for instance I might struggle a bit. I know that you can go on YouTube to check Leana’s videos but having all the information in the app gives it more autonomy. Also, it will be nice to be able to see the workouts per day as a list of workouts as well. I know that this might be a weird suggestion, but for example, I have adhd and autism and I can’t explain it but I like to mentally prepare my workouts before going to the gym, even though the preview is amazing, seeing the workouts as a list would give me a better sense of what I am going to do that day. So having both the videos preview and the list will be amazing for people like me. for example:

2- It will be nice to have a separate button on the app that kinda explains how to use the app and maybe advice on weights and how to tackle each fitness goal. I know that on instagram you have QnAs but having it in the app gives it more autonomy. Or even a link to a video that explains those things. Would be very nice. And also not everyone have instagram. Because maybe I would recommend the app to my mum or an older person or anyone who would not necessarily know Leana or have any social media. When I downloaded the app I expected to see something like this, even having a video where Leana is doing a day of workouts from the app will be very helpful, specially for people who are a bit timid about doing new things.

3- It will be nice to have the option to delete workout history or reset progress, because the person using the app may have adhd or any kind of neurodivergence and that comes with different quirks. For example, they might feel more comfortable resetting progress if they stopped working out for a while and they want to get this dopamine boost from being able to start again with a clean slate. For instance, I am prone to feel more motivated if I can start over again with a clean slate, rather than if I can see my failure to keep working out with an evidence of incomplete workout history. I don’t know if this makes sense.

4- In the app there is a button for meal plans, I don’t think everyone who uses the app will use the meal plans option. So, I would suggest that maybe you should give an option where the tracking portion of the page only shows for people who are using the meal plans. This is again a design flexibility so that the app is more responsive to people who are neurodivergent. Because for me I am not using the meal plan part of the app, but seeing the tracking at 0 is demotivating because I always have the urge to complete things, so seeing something incomplete gives me that weird sensation that I am not doing want I am supposed to do. So if you can make it like a gadget that the user can take off, it will be nice.

5- The last thing is that even though the workout history option is an amazing option to track progress. I think there should be an option to see the weights used per workout in the history (I am not really sure it does this now because I haven’t used it to workout yet), also it will be nice after completing the 4 weeks guide to have a summary of progress in terms of the percentage change of weights used from the beginning to the end of the guide or the workout plan, also if I am tracking my weight, I want to look at the summary of the changes that happened. Maybe also a summary of time took to complete the workouts.

I feel like the fitness goals need to have weightlifting goals, the app is called lift with leana, so I think it makes sense to have that as well. Because not everyone wants to lose or gain weight, some people would use the app the get stronger and tone their body.

Another thing is that it will be nice to have an option where we can make a custom workout plan from the workout library.

Finally, I feel like it will be amazing if the app has a button that shows your completed workouts in a calendar view. You know like the fitness app of apple, which is connected to the Apple Watch and it shows on the calendar the days where you complete all the rings. I don’t know but it’s very motivating to be able to see overall how many days I worked out in a bigger picture kind of way. And it will be such a nice way to promote the app as well if people shared on social media the completed view of the month of their workouts. Because it would create some sort of an urge to complete x amount of days or maybe it would be something that helps connects the people using the app together. Maybe in the future you will be able to update the app so that it has a community option where people who use the app or certain guides in the app can talk and share progress with each other. Or maybe they would have a monthly challenge or something like that.

Sorry for the long review! I am so proud of you and inshallah you go from success to a greater success with ease and blessings.
