Beautiful yet.....
Cannot fault the graphics - I play on iPad- but the gameplay really divides me. Lots of quickie tasks, such as the quests and scroll quests make you DO things and involves you. The auto-questing also allows me to set of hunting a set of creatures (for codex/core rewards) while real life intervenes ( make the tea, talk to a human etc).
I genuinely like/dislike this function and plenty of reviews declare auto-questing as a bad thing, pointless, brainless gameplay. But I think the devs has gone down this route knowing how we humans pick-up/put-down our devices in true ‘mobile’ fashion.
If you haven’t downloaded it do so - watch the beautiful artwork and gorgeous cut scenes. Have a little play, relax and beat the crap out of Olvar when you feel like it !

Not only is this a great game which you will find yourself fully immersed in and totally not want to stop playing! The translator actually work too which means it’s easy to communicate with everyone in game, with other games I’ve found this feature to be shocking. The help desk are actually helpful and don’t just send you infuriating auto replies, they know their stuff. I’m very impressed one may even say astonished ! I wasn’t expecting to be helped at all as with most games you just get some Dbag send you automated replies while you tear your hair out trying to explain your issue. This has to be one of the best mobile games I’ve played and would recommend it to anyone.
It’s for iPad, not iPhone
It runs on low settings on iPhone and max settings on iPad. To get the best experience it must be played on an iPad. The 50+ wars will surely bring lots of connectivity issues and lags due to the number of on screen activity. If you enjoy the story and playing in small groups of 3 to 4 then it’s fine to play on the phone but to make the most of the game a tablet is a must.
The game is offers an open world fantasy world of a war between the elves, humans and dwarfs against an evil rebel force threatening life on earth. The execution of the game is great but the story isn’t gripping as you are often running small time errands. The game is 12+ which is a disadvantage because it makes less of an impact emotionally. At the end of the day it’s just a grind to become the strongest and appear significant in a massive war against other clans.
