This app is wonderful and I use it all the time. It would be perfect if there were two adjustments. Firstly, if when taking things (text for example) onto the workspace, and it is connected to the document, it stayed in the same place instead of constantly moving as you scroll through a document. It follows you rather than staying in the place you took it from. I have never really understood why it does this, since it would be far more helpful if it stayed where it was taken from. This does mean I never use the workspace because this is a pain. Secondly, if the highlighter, like the pen, stayed in the colour and size you last used it. It always reverts back to yellow and the same size, whereas the pen stays the same colour and size from the last time it was used. If these were fixed it would be perfect!
From great innovation into a disappointment

I have used this app since its early days with great enthusiasm. I have even convinced many of my colleagues at the university to start using it. HOWEVER, with time passing by the app seems to be lagging fat behind, resistant to change and ignoring the feedback of its users. To take two examples which I have emailed and participated in the beta testing crying to the developper to include and each time they promise it is coming soon but a year passed with no change. First is the ability to save files on cloud and to use them across different devices. It is a pretty simple thing and when you dont have it makes your life a mess. You have to keep copying files across devices and you run a high risk of losing your notes if something went wrong with your iPad. Second is the ability to copy text from a liquid file and paste into Word without having to manually remove line breaks each time you copy. The absence of this feature makes note taking very cumbersome and time inefficient. What is troubling me is that these features are quite simple and available to other PDF readers. I have been waiting for years but it does not seem the developer of Liquid text care. With sincere regret, I decided to migrate to another app and will manually move my documents one by one . I will also have to apologize to all colleagues I convinced to use this app.
Best Research App for Uni Students

I am a Law student and I have to admit that this is the best application for doing research and ensuring your notes are all in one place. It works well with my iPad Pro (2019). It provides quick referencing and ensurnig you have everything in one place and I can’t thank this app enough. I purchased the premium version of this app with student discount and it is definitely worth it. While there are areas of improvement, it still deserves 5* because it has made me so much more productive and organised.While everything works great, there are a few areas that could be improved and implemented..1. When tranfering text highlighted onto the text box, any word thst contains ‘ff’ for e.g. efficient, would change into e>icient for some odd reason.2. It would also be great if when you move the text boxes and overlap some over the other, they did not change such that some boxes overlapped ones which I did not intend for it to overlap and it would change the next time I open the app.3. The app would be better if there was an optoin to freely draw an area to select to move because i cant move handwriting from the default background once written.4. Sometimes after writing for a while, the app doesn’t pick up the pen force very well and sometimes doesn’t write for 5 seconds (could be to do with my pen, although it works fine on other apps)5. Have a search option to sesrch through the notes you have made and not through the documents you have referenced them from.Overall, I’m really grateful for the developers to have came up with a great application and I will continue to support and find ways to help improve the app!!!
This update includes general app stability improvements, UI enhancements, and bug fixes to make the app smoother and more reliable.
