Logitech Control 4+

Here is my experience with it. Bought the keyboard, which is great, had a note inside saying ‘Download this app’. Before I had done that , I connected the keyboard and it came up right away that a ‘Firmware update was available’, which I duly downloaded and installed with no issues. Then I downloaded this app. Like other users, disappointed that it does nothing to ‘control’ the keyboard. All it does, seemingly, is update the firmware. However, like another user I read on the logitech website that if you push the ‘OWE’ keys of the onscreen keyboard, and the the ‘world symbol’ simultaneously (one review suggested that it was the ‘alt’ key, which it isn’t) it will say if another firmware update is available. So, despite the app stating ‘Firmware is up to date’, when I pushed these keys, it stated ‘Firmware update available’. After 3 or 4 goes with messages saying ‘Try again’, it seemed to download and install, but checking the firmware version before and after, no change! Overall then, I agree with all the 1 star reviews. What is this for and what use is it?

Combo touch is a great keyboard for ipad pro actually, but I thought the app will offer more options of customizations and updates but it seems very bad only showing last update firmware and no options to customize my keyboard
Sometimes it fails to recognize my keyboard
The batter drainage is crazy and needs more updates to minimize battery usage even if keyboard is not connected the smart connection in the case is draining the battery

Download the Logitech App

Step 1: Make sure iPad is up to date

Step 2: Update the app to the latest version

Step3:The keyboard presented on the right of the screen on the app is where you want to press the letters QWE AND THEN ALT At the same time
This will bring up a further update.
DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING WHILST THIS IS UPDATING

Why this isn’t explained is beyond me, Also pressing the photo keyboard on the app is just confusing
