Slow app

The app is become slow since iOS upgrade.

Not sure anyone at Lutron has actually used their own app

I can’t understand why the app has such high reviews. It’s very difficult to use because whenever you select a room or part of a room the whole menu jumps around and you then have to scroll back to where you were.

It’s made even more problematic by the fact that there is not enough of a distinction between the rooms and the options in the rooms. They have added different numbers of dots for each level but the user experience is so poor - it takes far too much effort every time (once the screen has jumped around) to work out which room you are in. These problems make using the app a chore and I find myself getting up and pressing the physical buttons so I don’t have to open it, wait for it to connect and then contend with all the bugs before I can turn a light on.

I don’t understand how they have got this so wrong. They have such a good system that works well generally, however for an app based lighting system the app is so poor. I’ll happily review again if they decide to make the improvements required

Needs a tweek

Great app, super lighting control but needs tweaking, I have given some suggestions at Lutron meetings but yet to be included on the app.
Easy to encourage others to become Lutron households, even better can be integrated with ring products
