Description
Mahjong is an enjoyable game, played around the world. However, for beginners (and even more experienced players!), calculating the value of a hand can be confusing. On top of that, payments between players after the value of each hand is calculated can also be tricky.
Mahjong Helper aims to simplify the tasks of scoring and payments between games. It can also be used to keep a history of matches played, and to easily experiment with different methods of scoring.

Very clever App!!
Really like this app as helps loads. Fluid and easy to use. Only flaw - wish when you changed players in the hand scorer it cleared the tiles of the previous player, maybe with a "save score and clear tiles ready for next player?" question. Cannot wait to see what else this app will do as really cool now. Thank you.
Great helper app for Riichi
Very useful app. A bit confusing at times but otherwise exactly what I needed.
Some small issues specifically for Riichi:
The score in the hand scorer section is not that clear as to how it works (especially for dealer tsumo)
No ability to pull from the table using Han and Fu (i have to build the hand in the hand scorer to do automatic score distribution, would like to be on the score sheet and specify Han and fu instead)
You need to go to the score sheet to set the difference between Ron and Tsumo (would be nice to also be able to do it in the hand scorer)
The table values in percentages are a bit confusing as most Riichi players would use Mangan, Haneman etc
No British Rules
Thought that this would help as we learn Mahjong but sadly doesn’t seem to include the British Standard scoring system, also seems a bit buggy on the iPad but has potential to be good.
