I've upgraded the OS from Mojave where Ublock Origin was still supported, and said to myself this extension is from MalwareBytes, so it must be good, as I trust the company, but it turns out it doesn't do anything at all. Sponsored links and ads are still in place, and it has sooooo limited controls in the settings. Maybe I'm used to very advanced and granular controls, but this is beyond simple.Wouldn't mind if it was actually blocking ads.Better off with any of the Firefox derivates or even it, and Ublock Origin.

As another reviewer had already stated, as soon as you install this, the fans on my Mac mini started going full blast. As soon as I uninstalled it, the fans slowed down. Not sure what this thing is doing in the background but it's clearly as system performance hog. Avoid!
Good but could be better...

Found this a good application to block adverts on sites however, the lack of a splashscreen to advise when a website has been blocked is poor.Other AV complanies are about to provide this service however, Malwarebytes can only show a page is not loading screen.

This program is very easy to use because it blocks advertisements and the download of unsolicited programs. I congratulate the developers. I can only recommend it.
- Fix bug where the Browserguard DB gets stuck on old versions
- Fix bug where ads are still blocked even after adding the website URL to the allow list
