I was really enjoying this game I always liked the idea of Homescape kind of game but couldn’t get into it as I don’t like match 3 type games. So this finally not being a match 3 I give it a go and it turns out it’s much more enjoyable for me as a hidden object game. My wife who never plays games even plays it with me now so we sit together looking for the items, when I play alone I save all my stars to unlock things when we are together.

The game is very well done and we both enjoy it now, some of the items are very clever and the placing of them. But sometimes it’s also very frustrating when you just can’t see it! My only gripe out of all the game types I’ve had so far is that the anagrams are pretty hard...well for me and my wife apparently even with two of us we fail them often, I feel like you should be given more time on the anagram levels.

Also you’ll learn new words! I’ve had to google a fair few things because I didn’t even know what the word was to know what I was looking for! But serious great game.

Hidden objects are great but too many match 3 levels

I played this game on my husband’s iPad and all the levels were find hidden objects which was great. These levels allowed you to earn enough coins and stars to renovate and design the manor and follow the story. So I downloaded onto my iPad and the game was totally different. There were hardly any hidden objects levels and they were mostly match 3 levels like candy crush. Not very good. I bet only one level in every 1/2 dozen are hidden objects levels. Unless you’ve earned enough coins to be able to buy special tools, like rockets, these levels use dozens of lives trying! So I continued playing on my husband’s device. Then about 2 weeks later my husband’s version updated and changed. They’ve also changed the frequency at which your lives are renewed and you now have to wait 30 mins before getting one new life. In the old version you had multiple lives in that time. So you can look forward to failing the match levels less frequently but not progressing to the next level as quickly because you can’t earn enough coins to get more lives. Ultimately they want you to purchase real coins with their in app purchases!

Great game until the latest update!

As the title suggests, I’ve really enjoyed playing the game up until the most recent update, this is because I feel the developers are getting a bit greedy and wanting you to spend money with the 2 new game modes. These are the Hardest & ‘super hard’ levels, I’ve played through quite a few of them and although they do as the title of them suggest to a degree, after a few attempts they are passable.
I’ve hit a level which requires me to find 15 items on one of the more recently opened areas (so haven’t had many goes at this area) within a minute, while I’m sure this would be more than possible on the mode in which you can see 3 items to find a time this particular mode only gives you a single item at a time and you lose at least a couple of seconds every time you find an item before it shows you the next item to find.
I’ve been at this level for the last few days and cannot even come close which is why I feel the developers just want you to spend money to buy extra time in order to be able to complete this level.
I loved this game and the challenging nature but I just feel greedy ness is spoiling it.
