Version v2.15.0
iPhone 5s devices and later with iOS 12.4+ is required. Server version v8.1.0 or later is required.
- Bumped iOS SDK to v17.2.
- Added back the ability to connect the iOS app to servers without SSL.
- Fixed an issue where opening a user avatar could cause a crash.

Good service, buggy app
The Mattermost server itself is great, but this iOS app is buggy, buggy, buggy, buggy. I’ve missed messages because the chat view didn’t scroll down to show me them. I’ve had notifications not arrive. I’ve had messages suddenly vanish after they fail to be sent in a low-signal area. Sometimes I open the app and it immediately crashes. If you are using Mattermost already, you’ll probably be fine, but don’t choose the service based on how good the app is.
Good but buggy atm
The updates are nice but it seems to have brought issues to members of our team using the iOS app, many of us keep getting logged out repeatedly with ‘session expired’ but this has never happened in the past and means we have to keep logging back into the server

Hi there, the session lengths is a setting configured by system administrators, and can be extended if desired. We also recommend system admins to enable "Automatically extending sessions" to keep active users logged in. See more details at https://mattermost.com/blog/session-expiry-experience/.
