Max - Pill reminder 4+

My cat has recently been diagnosed as hyperthyroid and now needs meds every 12 hours without fail. Apple health could remind me as it does with my own, but that has always felt naggy and the last thing I needed was internal resistance building up - my cat is relying on me to give these meds for his health.

Max to the rescue! The reminders are fun, the phone call if you don’t tick off is hilariously funny, and it makes it a joy to be reminded! It has been so good I’m switching my meds to this app, because it works in a fun not a nagging way.

I can’t describe how brilliant it is to get a phone call, answer it, and have Katherine the cat miaowing at you, it’s just priceless.

Setting up the meds was very easy, and not to worry if you tick off a little late (I often give the meds then playtime or feed my cat so it’s not 100% yuck experience for him). The time the med was given can be easily adjusted to reflect when it actually went in his mouth).

All in all a great little app, I thoroughly recommend!

I simply wanted an app to remind me to take my meds and this app does that well. What makes it different from just setting a reminder on your phone is that you mark off when you have taken the pills, so you can see keep track of when you’ve taken your meds. I personally only take one pill a day so someone who has to take more meds than me might find it too simple, but for me it’s more helpful than those apps with a paywall

I would have forgotten so many times to take my meds (still early days) but this reminds me every time. It’s easy to use and add meds and click take.

Only change is to get a call reminder after 15 minutes as well as the already 5 minutes as sometimes miss the notification. Also to have a range of motivational messages when you click on take would be nice but it works perfectly!
