McAfee Security: Secure VPN 4+

Well I must say what a massive difference this app is buy paying the £7.99 a month. This version is so much better that the cheaper paid version. I did not rate it at all gave a bad review. But now I’m back tracking what I said and saying just pay for the proper version of this and you will see the difference how better everything is. I have only downloaded this version today. So I do need to give this a little time to see how I get on. I let’s wait and see. But I really can tell I’m not going to have any issues with the quality of this version and it’s security. Paying for the cheap version of this I just would not bother with that. Pay the extra and you will be glad u did!!

I’m paying the subscription for £16 or whatever it is a month. It doesn’t seem worth the money. So I requested a data cleanup considering I have somehow ended up on 3 different data broker lists. It’s a crazy world and hackers will do anything to steal data from you even if you’re an innocent, law abiding citizen. So it says it will take 35 days to finish the clean up. 40+ days later and it still hasn’t done what it’s supposed to do. So why am I paying all this money? Also there is an online account clean up but it can’t be used with iCloud? The app is good to mask your real IP address. That part works. And ever since I have been using this app and leave my VPN on I haven’t had a single data breach. I advise anyone to use a VPN if you can afford it because you just never know if you’ll ever have data exposed, be hacked or have money taken out of your bank account like I have before. But please sort out the data cleanup. Why should I continue paying extra money for something that isn’t doing the job right. And I hope it cleans up data from the data brokers and gets me off the lists. And cleans up data from any individuals who may have bought my data from hackers or whoever.

I made the mistake of buying the full plan annually, first of all they have made it so hard and complicated to cancel and refund that after two hours i am still unable to claim a refund. Then there is the data mining. As an Anti-anything they sure collect too much information both financial and digital about the users. This should be illegal but somehow they are still in business. Just take a look at their website, purposefully bombarding the user with cookie's consents and when you click on reject it will pop up again in each and every page.

The app sneakily accessed my whole email inbox even when I didn't give permissions for it. When i did not consent to giving access to emails in the next page it changed the agreement to a sign-in page which automatically gives the app permission to read all my emails. And you think it might be useful after all, but no it just says that you have whatever number of accounts on different websites and if you want to remove them you have to contact them one by one. I could go on and on but if you value your privacy steer clear of this Company.

And by the way their customer support doesn't answer phone calls easily .I was on the phone for 20 minutes and wasn't able to talk to anyone.
