Meetup for Organizers 12+

The app is pretty easy to use. I like the fact that it has different categories of information to fill in so that I won’t forget anything. The only issue I would say is that sometimes it is not so easy to type smoothly in the description category. I had to constantly checking if my spellings come out okay. Hope this can be fixed!

The app is soo buggy it’s unbelievable when editing an event.
Also, half the time when you make an action as an event organiser, it’s doesn’t tell you who the update will be sent to. The last thing any organiser wants is to spam group members so would be good to know who the particular message is being updated to each time.
Overall the app needs a lot of improvement. It’s taken me over 2hrs to modify an event whereas it could have been easier to call cel and start a new one but I didn’t want to send multiple notifications. Also, there’s no function to hide the location of events UNTIL attendees pay their ticket. So that has meant people turn up at my events without purchasing a ticker and I don’t operate a door service. It’s frustrating that venues cannot be hidden until payment completed on PayPal but they can only be hidden when it’s an online event or private group settings
Not a great organiser app.

Please keep in mind our notifications system sends only members who’ve RSVP’d to your events only if you update the event’s location, date, or time. We hear your feedback loud and clear about hiding the location of an event until after members have paid. Our product team reviews all feedback and considers how we can incorporate it into future versions of Meetup. Please let us know if you have any more feedback about our app!

I am an organiser on meet-up and I am thinking of deleting my account.
I don’t like the layout of the page and whenever I scroll through future events to edit them then go back I end up back at the beginning of my list of events and not where I left …if that makes sense. Also why is the subscription so expensive?
Why can’t I view the ratings ?
Sometimes I don’t to cancel an event that’s running for a year every week but only for a few weeks and there isn’t an option to do that. Why? Also sometimes I would like to delete an event but save it to upload next time. Again DOESNT give you the option to do that. I will be cancelling my subscription at the end of the month. Thanks
