Poor English version- needs a native translation
German Logic but horrible English translation.
What’s the point?
It’s almost like web developers in Germany don’t use other apps. The basics of UX are ignored; this is basically the same as using the main website with blind alleys, forgotten logins/session cookies that force you to sign in and then the app forgets what you were trying to do. It’s a shame that Magenta customers are used as cashcows anyway (try adding credit/data when you run out) without them being encouraged to use an app that doesn’t recognise them nor make basic functions easy to complete. It’s basically advertising with a couple of hard-to-find account functions. If you run out of data: you’re on your own - rather than give you a gateway to purchase more data cheaply, you’re expected to go find wifi somewhere to connect. It’s so far below the provision in other EU countries, but hey, welcome to Deutschland, proudly 37th in the list of internet speed by country and hopelessly mired in tech-illiterate political interference in piblic services.
I chose English but it’s mostly still in German
Plus I can’t easily just access the number and top up status and balance. Instead I’m bombarded with sales crap and services I neither understand nor need. Magenta moments for example?!? Please just be efficient and focused on one thing the customer wants. A top up plan I. English in Germany. Boom.
