Metronome ‪Ϟ‬ 4+

If you’re looking for a metronome in your phone then look no further! This app is simple and well designed. You have complete control over BPM using both a sliding scale and plus/minus counter. You can set practice timers to try keep rhythm for a certain length. You can set the button to flash with the metronome AND set your phone torch to do it seperately. Above all else however is the fact that almost nothing interrupts this metronome. I can play it all day over any app, any audio, anything. I’m quite sure if I picked up a phone call the metronome would keep going over it(haven’t tested that yet.)

Truth be told I’ve been using it throughout the day to help me deal with my ADHD. It’s worked magnificently. I also use it from drumming and there too it is a god send. Highly recommend.

This metronome is great for keeping you focussed during practice! It's amazing how long 10 minutes of warming up can feel some days, but the handy timer makes sure that it is consistently 10 minutes warm up every day, 10 minutes of this, 15 minutes of that... etc... before you know it you have done an hour of solid practice every day for a week and found that you have little bits of practice time available all over the place! This app helps you take advantage of the 2 minutes waiting for the kettle to boil, etc...

This is awesome! Totally easy to use and lots of options. Only downside being that it seems to only have one time signature. But you can tap out you own speed and there are 8 different metronome voices playing with or without a flash and you can have it going for set times. The metronome continues if the app is closed which is really useful. Upgrade to the full version to have virtually any time signature- really helped me along with Jazz rhythm in a 5/4 time signature. Definitely worth the pipsqueak of a price I paid for it!
