Description
Mitel® MiCollab® Client
MiCollab provides customers that have installed Mitel phone systems with a single access point for all their business communication and collaboration needs. Employees can check the availability of colleagues, make phone calls, search the corporate directory, IM contacts, check corporate voice mail, change status, place video calls, and more, directly from their desktops. MiCollab includes:
Presence – know if contacts are on the phone, away from their desk or available for a voice or video call or instant chat. Users can also manage and automatically update their status and call-routing preferences based on location or time of day
Call handling – Receive, place, and hand-off voice calls using a desktop phone, softphone, or any mobile device with a MiCollab Mobile Client.
Softphone – enjoy the same in-office communications management from a remote desktop or laptop with an embedded, software-based IP phone.
Call history - View incoming, outgoing and missed calls
Messaging – visual voice mail with presence information on the person who left the message and a range of options for dealing with the message.
Point-to-point video collaboration – place a video call with the click of a button.
The MiCollab Client for Macintosh works with the Mitel MiCollab Server 8.0 (or higher) Unified Communication and Collaboration platform. Contact your IT manager or Mitel representative for more information.

Ratings and Reviews
Stick with a desk phone
Some kind of bizarre audio processing makes every incoming caller sound like a dalek. I can’t select how many rings before a call is forwarded. Calls sometimes divert to voicemail after only one ring anyway, so it’d probably be futile. Outgoing caller ID doesn’t passthrough my number. You can’t choose a specific audio device for input/output, so you’re stuck with whatever you use for all other audio. In particular this means you can’t wear headphones for music and also have a headset for calls. In fairness, the contacts/calendar integration is ok, but after a month installed, I still don’t really trust it as a phone, which is pretty disappointing.
what a load of rubbish
glitchy, crap, darlek sounds, dropped calls and so on. Ive spoent over 350k on Mitel and the company cant even programme there own system as it has 7 portals.
Stcuk with them and am so angry.
Softphone Doesn't work
The app never requests permissions to the microphone so it doesn't appear in the security settings to enable it, with no Microphone softphone is useless
