Very easy and quick to use

I got a UTI on a Saturday when my surgery was closed. Using the home test kit I can just take the results to the pharmacy and get the issue fixed (hopefully). If I didn’t have this product available I would have had to wait till Monday or called 111.
It very easy to use and the app is actually worth using. Would recommend

DONT BUY KIT YET (UPDATE)

Shambles. Absolute shambles. It is my 6th day on horrid symptoms of cystitis. After drinking sachets, cranberry juice and getting drunk on water. Nothing worked, in my local boots i pass by the DIP UTI kit back and fourth contemplating if i should buy it or not. Until the 6th day, today, I bought it in desperation as symptoms got slowly worse again after the sachets soothed it. I did all the steps and got my test results ready to show the pharamacist my results and have antibiotics given as my results clearly did not look great. i was told: "Sign up online as it'll be quicker" I had a long pause. So i signed up, to met with £23 charge for the medication. What is the point to buy this test kit as it was useless in the end to get told to go online to get just pay more for medication?? It's stupid. Me a broke university student so skint of money not knowing anything or sources for medication and all i know is my GP which is all the way back home. Lovely £10 spent to be useless and not looked at the end.

Update: Having to update them and now it's been a few weeks and i am now all better, Dip UTI gave me a voucher refund as a good gesture for my unfortuante experince. It was the first time getting a refund like this and i greatly appreciated it. They told me how the kit wouldn't and should've been used and i guess in my experince it wasn't used like it at the pharmacy.
Thank you and i greatly appreciate what you have done for me

Fantastic design, sadly inaccurate test

Despite both the physical product and app being OUTSTANDING (seriously, well done!) the whole thing falls down when it comes to the actual clinical accuracy of dip tests: they aren’t very accurate at all, I’m afraid. In fact they’re are wrong between 20-30% of the time. Case in point was my my own experience yesterday: i tested negative for a UTI, but it turns out today that I do indeed have one despite this result and require a 5 day course of co-amoxiclav. In my case this test was a waste of money and time… dip tests simply have too high a rate of false negatives. Additionally, even if a test is correct, it cannot tell you *which* bacterial strain you have, so the only antibiotic that pharmacists can prescribe for a positive result (nitrofurantoin) may well not even work. My advice to all ladies out there with symptoms - take this product with a pinch of salt and DO NOT assume it’s accurate (especially if you test negative). Go and request a urine culture from your doctor/ talk to your GP directly, because if you have all the symptoms of a UTI and the dip test still says no, it’s highly probable the test is a false negative.
